Despite this being a pre-release trailer, it's nice to see many small things just being copied over from the first game. It shows me that they're prioritizing the story/adding and refining mechanics, instead of trying to build everything from the ground up. Small stuff like the dialogue gestures, surrender animations, etc. are already fine the way they were, I'm glad Warhorse seems to have their act together! It's super refreshing to see that in a modern game haha
Looks more like a DLC than a second game. Am definitely still looking forward to this as I’m a fan of the first game. Really hit me when the game says “behold the great city of kuttenburg” and it just looks like a normal town from the first game. For some reason I was expecting a crowded bustling city with markets etc
I do have one question, (Well maybe 2). Is this game going into Mutiplayer(in any way?)_ now or in the future? Will the Original map/game KCD be on this map and playable(Switching between games?)
No to both. This an single player only game. The new game is an total different area there are two maps and that will be the only real loading screen you will see that is what they said
It's s amazing what can happen when games studios listen to their customers, and just want to produce solid entertainment built around an engaging story. I wish Warhorse continued success, and wish that other studios return to the simple formula of providing entertainment, and not lectures.
Im only at 8:00 but i have to describe this game... and ONLY one word fits; "BRILLIANT" (Im 67 years old, been playing PC Games since the Commodore Era, which is pre-windows 3.1) I truly hope this is a SMASHING SUCCESS and you all reap the rewards at Warhorse Studios for such well done work!
You can put subtitles on if you want. Because they don’t want the player to understand what is being said Henry has probably never seen let alone heard an polish person. He never really left his village until the events of the first game. The farthest he been was to the church village
I especially like the unnecesery wait for everything from dice to sleep to prison time. I adore how i was sent to jail for a crime with no witnesses and was then bugged out and accused for another crime in the middle of my sentence. But what takes the cake is the brutal depiction of r..e Theresa was subjected to in the DLC quest Thicker than water...because nothing teaches you how to stealth kill more than an immediately aggro and aware enemy (cuman warrior) who calls his friends immediately and kills you multiple times leaving you soft locked for an hour....truly a masterpiece.
Thank you guys the only thing that you devs care is to make a good game that simple . In this dark age of gaming Kingdom Come Deliverance is a light . Really hope for the big battle that we did not have in the first game . Day one for me
Well, if KD2 takes place in 1403, i hope that Henry will take part in the Battle of Grunwald in KD3. It would be awesome to see the largest medieval battle from FPP.
It didn’t need fixing it need clowns to not suck at video games. To answer your question it will most likely have the simple lock picking of the final patch of the first game
First game is not for everyone and it requires patience which an lot of gamers now day lack. It an game where Henry suck at everything he does at least at the start of the game. He can’t even read at the beginning of the game. It early game hell until Henry get to about level 10 to 12 in the key stats
i’ve always looked for a medevil type game to scratch that itch i’ve been having for years to have the same enjoyment or level of enjoyment i had playing skyrim when I was a kid kinda funny how the game that did that for me is the complete opposite with KCD being the most realistic type game i’ve played and skyrim being complete fantasy😂
After playing all of KCD and not knowing Henry was moddled after a real person, this is pretty unsettling to watch. Not in the same way as seeing an actor im familiar with get portrayed in CGI, this is just unsetteling in an uncanny way.
The hard part is trying to decide how much of "I've done several Playstations" is him being earnest in his Boomer language and how much is some deep self-deprecation humor without the wink - it sure isn't 100% either way.
This is by far the coolest game reveal i've seen. You can tell the studio has a true appreciation for the environments and setting of their game. That Cathedral is beautiful!
