Hello everyone and welcome to Mcgurr Entertainment,
This channel is geared around providing Tutorial and How-To videos to help anyone interested in automotive upgrades and repairs. The How-To videos contain detailed step-by-step instructions (as best as I can) in accomplishing the video’s specific goal. Also, the maintenance/repair videos can save you time and money versus going to over-priced auto repair shops.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to leave feedback.

Good video, on the ecoboosts models there are no holes on the trunk, the little want to be spoiler that comes with the car is just taped to the trunk. I had to drill on the trunk to get mine on.
It would've been a lot easier if you get 4 studs (headless bolts) or sacrifice 4 bolts (they are cheap) and cut off heads. Screw them in the spoiler. I would be more comfortable with alignment of the holes that way, than relying on thin allen keys, which could put the holes off center. You can remove the studs after install using your straw trick, or needle nose plier.
@@mcgurrentertainment looks like wire is fine, I didn't break anything, but I my car wasn't ride about a month, I thought maybe it was because accumulator energy is low
Simply disconnect the connector we modified and connect the trailer light harness. Besides, the camera is likely not helpful with a trailer blocking it.
Fantastic video. Explained exactly what needs to be done. Followed your instructions and replaced the speakers on my Altima with no issues. However, I did notice that the factory speakers fit flush in the circular grill/hole in the plastic door panel but the new 6.5" speakers were slightly larger and the grill kind of sits on top of it. The interior door panel seemed to attach to the door without any noticeable gaps though. Is this normal?
Thank you very much!!! It's possible, depending on the size (height) of the new speakers (different manufacturers have different specs). As long as everything fits with no issues, let it ride.
Grease for the caliper guide pins or from what I’ve heard high temp silicone spray And if my torque wrench only goes to say 85 can I just add the extra torque to what it needs to be
So like max torque then the extra torque that’s lefts sounds odd but I’m not sure if that would work or if I should just buy a new torque wrench I think you understand me like adding the numbers say it needs 100 Torque I give it the max I can give them add it until it gets to the necessary torque but I don’t think that’s how torque wrenches work lol 😅
I see what you're saying. Yea, you could torque it to 85 ft-lbs, then use a lug wrench to tighten some more. The goal is not to leave them loose and not strip the studs.
@@mcgurrentertainment alright thanks break job starts tomorrow my front breaks are practically non existent I can barely break I only work today one question that went unanswered grease for the caliper guide pins or silicone high temp spray
That's a good question. I have never tried filling large holes with JB weld. Strength wise, I'm sure it would hold. My concern would be the cracking and the paint adhesion. That's a tough one.
Hey so I get the led to be solid blue and then the ignition won’t turn on the car and my key fob will not work anymore either, anyone know what the problem might be?
I have not. First, I would check to see if the SD card is completely installed correctly (if it's loose or upside down, it can cause this issue). Next, try to format the memory card: Open the app settings and format the memory card. If that fails, take the card to the computer and format.
@@mcgurrentertainment thank you for responding. I tried all of those things and yet it still doesn't want to work. The camera itself is fine, it's just having problems with the memory card. I've tried just about everything, so I think I'm going to just return this one and get a new one.
I want to replace the original car radio on my 05 frontier soon was wondering if this video is compatible with my 05 frontier I’m aware that yours is a 09 not sure if there’s a difference or something I should expect that my older model would or wouldn’t have that yours has hoping this isn’t a dumb question I guess I’m looking for reassurance n tips lol
This came out amazing and I have to say that your attention to detail is astounding. I saw the post on Mustang 6g maybe a year or two ago and I've always wanted to try it, but I didn't realize how much work went into it 😅 I was wondering if you would consider creating another one and selling it. If not, totally respect it and just know that there is one person that is VERY envious 😄
Thank you very much. It really does mean a lot!!! As of right now, I'm not set up for production. However, after all my projects are caught up, I may be able to look into making more molds. I made 3 covers total, and I am getting quickly in making them. Sadly, the curing process always eats up time.
@@mcgurrentertainment thank you for responding, and I completely understand! I hope all of your projects go smoothly, and (selfishly) hope you find the time, haha! Either way, I will be subscribing! Can't wait to see your other projects!
Suppose to be an Installation video.. Are your pants on fire? Are you being charged by the second? Slow down to 1/2 speed and maybe your video will be of some value
Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos. RU-vid allows viewers to adjust playback speed, so you can try slowing it down to your preferred pace.
What if this is happening on the driver's side? I am having this problem, and I cannot even locate the sensor, much less figure out the problem. I have a 2010 V6 base model.
The same steps work on the driver side as well. However, is your S197 Mustang doing the exact same thing as the video? Or is it malfunctioning in a different way?
I’m working on it rn but there’s 2 small cables that was connected to the original radio that doesn’t fit in the new one I’m trying to connect them but it doesn’t fit in my car is a Nissan Altima sv 2013 i don’t know why there’s two small cables in my car that your car doesn’t have them 😢 probably that’s why it doesn’t work
Awesome awesome awesome video, buddy! That smoke was genius. I'm so glad that I ran into your video, sir. I will be doing this to my Xterra this weekend. Thank you for the video, buddy. 🤝
Yes, you would need to install the plug. If you adjusted the parking brake too much, you may need to tighten up a bit. We adjusted the parking brake just a small amount at the beginning, which accounted for wear on the old rotor. This placed it in an ideal position when installing the new rotor. Plus, working the parking brake will correct the gap.
Thanks for the very detailed video! This started to happen randomly on my 2019 Ecoboost (passenger side as well) and followed this today. Definitely saw some moisture underneath the plastic lining & cleaned that up too. Have not seen it happen since putting everything back together. Hopefully to stay that way.
A very well done instruction video which saved me a lot of time and angst. I did end up removing the right manifold support bracket from the block to make it easier to get the manifold reinstalled after replacing the spark plugs (and coils). Time to keep on truckin'!
Thanks for the great in depth video. My wife's 2015 Mustang convertible passenger window would not go all the way up. Followed your instructions and now it's fine. Even torqued the screws and bolts to the proper amount. Now, for at least the next month, I won't have to explain to her why I have so many tools in the garage.
Hey this drained my battery through its sleep mode feature. Anyone have any similar experience? Anytime i disable that feature it re-enables upon the next time i turn on my car
@@mcgurrentertainment Nope, i have the exact model as the one shown in the video so everything was plug and play for me, but as soon as i get the time i’m going to re-disassemble the dash and take a look at the harness connections
Very great video, my stock 21' ecoboost has a factory painted lip spoiler. I saw some people had to drill holes for the two middle screws. Any idea if these holes are factory on all mustangs? or would I have to drill new holes.
12:31 I had to use blue locktite for those top screws that go into the plastic they never tightened since it seemed the plastic was stripped. The lower ones fortunately screw into metal.
Great tutorial. Straight to the point, all the needed instruments are mentioned. I've been looking for the size of the wrench needed to turn the tensioner. I think a 17mm box wrench will do the job as well.
@@mcgurrentertainment thank you, it looks to be the same. another question. the waiting for the air bubbles to stop, is that mainly for the type of funnel your using? if I don't have that would I just be watching to see when its completely filled?
@@mcgurrentertainment thank you. Just wanted to double check. So if I’m using a regular funnel, the air bubbles should still do its thing? I see why you use your funnel though in the event of putting too much fluid you can cap it and put remaining back in container? Is that right? I’ve only seen one other video like this and yours is definitely more informative. I’m just trying to see how I know how much 50/50 to put in before it overflows.
