somehow after long time seeing people talking about sonic 2 having past/future system Initialy. makes me starting to think that this could be somehow used as "past" chemical plant zone, cuz there's pretty much every element from chemical plant mixed like water enemies even the boss except the poop water
I dunno what they were smoking when they made this game bro. The jump in difficulty is fucking crazy after the ice zone and even getting the chaos emeralds is a chore. And then they lock Amy behind getting every emerald as every character?????
Man this hit me in a place i never thought it would, one of the only games i owned as a kid along with pokemon sapphire, like i get chills and tear up watchibg stuff like this because it just hits so hard, i might not be a big sonic fan now but this game seriously got me through some times with its addictive gameplay and charm that you dont really get nowadays
Put this in your game design and player toolbet. 'Timing' is the key to any good design. If I told you a boss had a wind up, you would understand instantly what I meant. But I told you to 'wait', almost most of you will struggle. It is not your or whatever unique psycho-social conditioning. We are built to be deliberate and proactive. But sometimes, that gets you in a lot of trouble. Games with good patterns emphasize that, especially bosses, that they are tools of repetition. This is what sets Battle Network apart from other RPGs even in the GBA/DS days. It is 'real time', with a turn based pause and flow both in and out of combat. Summons stop the gauge usually. When you select chips, the game pauses. And you can collect your tools to win. Now. *points mega buster at* If you can do this in Collections with just the megabuster, or even the worst the chips in the game, will leave another comment and I would be more impressed as before. You are basically like the dude who defeated Roxas in one and a half minute without taking damage by understanding timing and patience. Subbed! (just for the challenge..)
