lmao its 2024 stop joining these tours to spot “exotic” animals. pink dolphins only came back to Tai O during pandamic because there were fewer ships and activities on the water. tourirst like you literally sabotage biodiversity because you like to exoticise rare animals so much
Hot take: Hiroshima style okonomiyaki is better. The best place to go for it in Hiroshima is Okonomi mura Suigun. If there is a line on the left side of the stairs at the entrance, go up the right side and inside as there is several floors of Okinomiyaki restaurants who all do their own thing and make amazing food.
I'm sorry if it came off as if I was complaining! It was an amazing experience and honestly the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm beyond grateful to have been able to even stay in a grand hyatt room. In a previous video, we stayed at a hotel in Kyoto that was completely hardwood which I rarely see and much preferred, which is why I made the comment in the video. Of course, the carpet at this hotel was clean and very nice nonetheless.
The first half of the video takes place in the Roppongi neighborhood in Tokyo. Our hotel was in Roppongi and we stayed in the area up until the next day when we left Japan.
great video ! i just have one question, how did you do you research? every time you introduced a new restuarant you were going to, or a new grocery store or fashion store, you always gave a quick tip/history fact about it. is this a quick google search that you did last minute or did you look at it beforehand?
@@mooseninja hey thanks for watching! we typically find itineraries on google that people have made prior to our trips and adjust to what we want to do. We also find the restaurants/stores through instagram or tiktok! Sometimes we find the restaurant the day of through google reviews and it ends up being really good (like the yakiniku place in this video). there were a couple of smaller neighborhoods in Tokyo that we missed such as Shimokitazawa or Daikanyama which is really cool for thrifting. We also missed a couple of temples in Kyoto such as Ginkakuji and Philosopher's Path, etc. I hope that helps!
@@heyemilyhua great ! tysm. ive been looking at different stores / restaurants on dif platforms and i saw some that looked intriguing; in addition to new ones that you made me discover through your itineraries !
we were tight on time so we had to take a taxi. but there is a bus stop right outside the castle that will take you there! the buses are super efficient in Kyoto. have fun!
