Sorry but it makes me feel better knowing that I’m not the only one that that this happens to. I own a boat and that’s just the way it goes.sometimes. Better luck next time.
Well, i hope you guys had a good time, even with only catching 2. If you had your boat You would have slayed um!!😅 i just bought a grill for my boat, and i love it...great video, like always
Those were some fine big tunies. It looked like you had the body bad pretty full. Stuff happens, gear breaks, and equipment and technique can fail, but overall that was a great trip. 😊
Great yellow tails. Need a walk space to get to the front of the boat easier. You guys had some bang up grillin goin on. Wanted you to throw a yellow tail steak or 2 on there!! Great video 👍👍
@@ChrisPfish2 I live in the Bay Area and I've miss salmon fishing so bad these last two seasons, this makes me want to start making my own videos, but I see the views are very low but it will be fun to do maybe we'll be able to fish for salmon next season.
@@ChrisPfish2 Young man I've been catching salmon in the Bay Area and all over Northern California for over 30 years I've salmon fish from Santa Cruz Monterey Bay, from Duxbury, The Farallon Islands, Antioch, Pittsburgh, Benicia,to Bodega Bay, Eel River Sacramento area all the way up to the Klamath River for over 30 years I've been salmon fishing for over 30 years the biggest fish I caught in Northern California was a salmon in Santa Cruz Monterey Bay that was 48 lbs. The biggest salmon I caught in Alaska was 76lbs and let's not even talk about the bluefin and yellowfin tuna I've caught in SoCal. I have the pictures to prove what I'm saying.! Young man you are a amateur compared to me I could teach you a lot if you're interested open and willing to learn! Stop being delusional and closed minded!
You have to pay a diver to come out once a month in the summer and once every 6-8 weeks in winter to scrub her down. That's what most do that care about their boats.
That’s why it’s called fishing but you were very lucky to get a very nice Seabass and a nice yellowtail. It’s not easy so it looks like the crew did a pretty good job setting you guys up to catch fish they know what’s up.!!!!!!!! great set ups to catch white, Seabass, halibut, and yellowtail drop it down to the bottom bounce off the bottom and just wait!
That rod wasnt assigned to eric so when it got bit he got confused if he should start reeling or not touch it because not his rod. The person who's rod it was let eric handle the fish on the bow. No one got drunk on the trip but maybe we should of :) Thanks for watching
@@ChrisPfish2 I enjoy watching your videos. I was born and raised in Southern California and I used to go out on long range albacore trips out of San Diego. I learned how to can albacore and yellowtail. It really is very simple and it’s well worth it. My wife’s never really liked tuna until she had home can tuna. I’m sure that if you try it, you’ll love it too.
SeaHawk paint. I had a trailerable 20'. I tried west marine, I got 2 seasons. I tried interlux, got about 3.5 seasons. Put SeaHawk on, 6 seasons. The color never faded either.
I've seen a lot of lost and almost lost fish due to bad gaff shots. I saw a guide that swore by bonking them with the haft of the gaff first and then gaffing and it seemed to work great for him, but I always go for the big net. Great video!
"fingers crossed for male keepers..." No need to be redundant since males are the only kind of keepers. Keeping or considering keeping females, plus putting it out there on the internet... give me a freaking break.
Chris did you take it for a high speed run for a while ? I keep my big red Raider in Berkeley. I was told to take it for a high speed run and it would knock off about 75% of the growth, it worked, I've been at Berkeley for about 16 months and it works for me. I take it out every 3 or 4 months for detailing. Great watching you
