Thank you! I was doubting between this one or Let It Go from the Falling in Between record. But this one suited the rest of the set better, and it's one of my favorites for sure! I really don't understand why Mushanga or Till The End never made it as a mega hit.
Look i don't want to be that guy, but I'm going to be honest here. She is completely out of tune during most of the song, and I blame nerves, and insecurity I suppose... She doesn't dare to really let it go and just feel the song. She's too scared of the crowd and isn't really into the song, instead she is too worried about how they look. If she would just feel the music and go all in I think this girl could be great.
A very good example of "musicians" and "performers". This was a presentation from "musicians". Not one performer was on this stage. They sounded pretty good. As this chart has a great deal more percussion in it ....AND ....AS SUCH ....can be played/performed far more aggressively and ENTERTAININGLY, the drummer is simply too mechanical. Hasn't learnt yet to "let loose". The singer might as well have turned around and sung. There was nothing. Literally lifeless. And the rest of the musicians .....sleeping zombies. COME GUYS .......AT LEAST ENJOY YOURSELVES!!!! .
Thank you for your compliment! Appreciate it! To be honest, I haven't really dove into Keltner's work yet, although I know he's one of Jeff's main influences. But I'm definitely going to! :)

Thanks for your comment. I chose this tempo deliberately. Live versions are not meant to be copies of album versions and are usually played with a sense of adventure and extra "fire" if you will. For instance, check out Toto's own live version from 1988: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y3S80CnznhM.html
Great job. Only one criticism, for some reason the drummer, who played excellent, had his snares too loose on his snare drum. The snare drum sounded like some cheapo the drummer bought on AliExpress for $39.99 including shipping.
Thanks Archie, haha, you're right about the snares. Tuning is not my greatest talent too, but in my defense: whenever I tightened the snares of my Gretsch USA Custom snare more, the sound has always been a bit too sharp in my opinion. I tried tuning the heads lower, but then it would sound like a garbage can or as if you were listening to a tennis match and that sharp sound would stay. Also, during playing, the snares would loosen gradually, because of the complex snare wire tension system. It's not the best snare to buy. Through time I figured out that with an Evans resonant head (slightly thicker than Remo) it sounds better! Still a Remo Ambassador Coated on top. And some duct tape to keep the snare switch at place. Also, tuning the reso head partly high (the lugs at both sides of the snare wires) and partly low (all other lugs) is a great trick to give this snare sound more body, although that's an unorthodox method. It sounds a lot better these days.
I just get here by accident but men!, this song is the holy grial! my congratulations with all my heart! always been my favorite song from toto and I've never been too brave to play it live haha.. all the best!
