Hey friend... What is that "metalic" like sound when you start the engine and accelerating from low rpm?? I'm looking right now to buy one of these and I found a nice ///M package one... I have read many articles about these n42 engines, but can you tell me from first hand, what are the sounds I should look for, when I sit in this car? And what particulary to look and be careful when buying? Did you personally had any problems with chain, tensioner, valves or something?? Cheers !!

Nice car, used to have fabia MK1 1.4tdi 70HP with the same color. I did stage 1 remap by myself and it had 90HP which was enough for such small car. I had good memories with that 😃👍

I don’t understand why your golf doesn’t have electric window lifters, mine has four of them, maybe for austrian market they didn’t make them?

Is it my stepway, or is the clutch too short? Let me explain, I can squeeze the clutch halfway and change gear without a problem, it starts to engage almost at the end of its travel
