Seriously my third video in and I’m wondering how these men aren’t dead yet. Good lord!! Don’t try this at home folks. Growing up cutting down trees for firewood and these guys are doing just about ever we were taught NOT TO DO … just makes me wonder if they take risks bc they know ppl are commenting on it? Guys… your lives aren’t worth a few views.
Clearly these men are NOT MARRIED… their wives wouldn’t allow such haphazard safety measures. Incredulous working conditions… bare feet, flip flops (can we say begging for a disaster to happen)… absolutely no safety googles. I mean where are these guys living??
Not sure what the plan is for that wood, but if tables are in order, I could see around 75 to100k's worth of wood there. That grain along with that staining from the metal is beautiful! Get ahold of that guy on RU-vid that does EPOXY tables and have him do it!
What total disregard for safety - mainly in the handling of the heavy pieces after the cut. These guys are truly amateurish when it comes to handling heavy pieces.
You can see the weight of the tree is on the wrong side and the angle he has cut is wrong . Very dangerous way to bring down tree wandering around a tree in unsafe manner.
Mine is on the tragic side. A dead 80 yo (?) sweet gum tree had to be cut down. I knew there was some sort of a nest inside as my dogs were whining & trying to climb it. After felling it, i started to cut it in sections I accidentally killed one of 3 baby raccoons. Upon further opening, the surviving babies were exposed. As I turned my back to lay down the chainsaw my dogs attacked and ate the babies. Too late for me to stop it.
That was cool and interesting... The last 5 minutes would have sufficed! BUT I do agree with @susanbaca6883 and @melissazmek2892 's comments. I watched it ALL in fascination and appreciation!
It fell back on itself. Wedge it to finish .and not those small wedges. Like full axe heads. Multiple horizontal cuts and wedges to get weight back over itself. Super dangerous at that point every minute it's left to itself. A gust of wind can make it go and could end up any direction . I logged for 20 years till my back went out on me
