Awesome video, my best friend and I were trying to make coasters & our image just was not cooperating no matter what we tried, this helped out a ton. You rule!
This was awesome! Thank you!! Do you know of any way to cut the image with another outline image Instead of creating a shape in Lightburn. Example, I have a image That is the Letter S, I also have another image of something else. I want to cut the second image the shape of the S.
I've tried a lot of things but it seems like something in the plastic/rubber has denatured and has degraded the rubber so it's permanently sticky. I'd love to be wrong though if someone else has any ideas...
Great Stuff! Thanks so much! I tried this for a pet memorial on slate, but forgot that I would need to invert the image to look like a "negative" since the slate is dark. My work would have been OK on wood, so I'll have to review how to invert the image.
I appreciate that just as much as you do man. I just can’t stand to watch a video. It takes forever to play out so, I don’t edit them just don’t have the time and don’t want to. Appreciate it man.
This will not work on my light burn..did something change in the new updates..1.5.02...Followed everything you did and this will not cut the picture out
Hey Jeff, could you do a video explaining which image mode ( dither ,jarvis, stucki, etc) is best for different substrates when engraving pictures? like wood , granite glass , etc. Thanks
Hey Jeff you have a rookie here but I did purchase a 60w Mopa fiber laser, large learning curve but your lessons have helped tremendously. I do have 17 days left on my trial of lightburn. My question is can I tone this laser down enough to work with plexiglass? Not sure if you have a fiber laser but might know the answer? Keep up the good work brother
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for this great video. The laser engraver is purchased and on its way and will definitely be working on this. Thanks again and am subscribed. Ciao
great content! all of it. no frills. no music. to the point , no lengthy intro. I shared your page to get you some subscribers. on marker 2:20 you can also enter "m" for add node at midpoint. love your videos jeff, thanks
