I bought the blue funnels and put them in with the big side up and didn't get any spillage. Whatsoever on the PAN, thanks for the vids. They're awesome going to do the transmission soon.
I got an email from canam yesterday that there is a software update for the 10.25” screen. Will you update yours and make a new video of what is new with the update?
I have a 2023 7x14 enclosed and just got rid of my x3 but the maverick r won’t fit. I’ve been looking to trade it in but now I can do this I just might b ok thank u
Did you notice any power loss with the s&b particulate filter? I was considering adding one on my mav R but i think it might restrict airflow at high rpm whem the motor is really sucking some air. Good job on the videos, straight to the point without ugly music and the tard slapstick comedy
I haven't noticed any reduced power yet. Only been riding trails. Test will come at Camp RZR in Glamis. I have high hopes of not losing much, if at all, top end power when compared to stock because the S&B for the Mav r is pretty huge. Should be less restriction than on the X3's. Thanks for the props! Love it!
I changed the oil in mine the other day with a can am oil change kit, added all 3 quarts and let it run for 15 minutes and it was still below the low level mark. did your level go to full after driving yours?
@@HooverManeuvers I did that but it didn't matter waited overnight, same. ended up buying another quart and put half in, it got me in the middle of the lines. good videos, the Can Am dealers in my area know very little about these machines.
@@cyndilushka6980 my dealer just told me I only needed 3 quarts as well. After doing research it requires 3.7 quarts. I told my ole lady to make sure she picks up 4 quarts and not 3 like they recommended
Off topic question what do you do for a break-in process I just bought a new Maverick R and I want to know if I need to take it easy or do a break in process I believe it says on the first 100 miles
Great video, I had to go back and watch it again after watching many months ago, trying to decide between MTS and shock theropy, still in the air, have you had a chance to compare it with some of your friends in the last 8 months, trying to decide which to go with and the best pricing also?
Thanks for the props! Honestly, most people I ride with all use MTS. I can't say anything negative about ST shock tuning but I will say this. I've had difficult communications with ST (nearly a week of emails back and forth when a simple phone call could have done the trick, but I couldn't get through on the phone after multiple attempts). In contrast MTS customer service is top notch.
George white at double e racing has one. He’s the real deal when it comes to his products. I first saw his Mav r sway bar on one of the miller brother cars and called and order one. I have about 1000 trouble free dunes miles on it now. In fact, i caught Mts taking measurements of my double e one down at vendor row during takeover. I’d, Be curious if they just copied his design.
Really miss my button that my Turbo r had. And can am should drive a polaris once, and they will quickly learn their setup is nowhere near being dialed in compared to Polaris.
@@HooverManeuvers My R is a great machine. But for suspension, Polaris has them beat, and by alot. Will be watching to see how you like the button. Its on my list, but gotta save some more pennies.
This seems like a great combo with Ned’s timing and this from shock therapy. I agree after having it on my SDI/MTS set up with the ECLIK I want the bottom on my MAV R
OK thank you very much. I’m just really uncertain. I needed some real advice from a person with lots of experience now with a maverick are how many miles do you have on your machine now I just hit 500 on mine. Now I’m ready to tune it.?
GREAT VIDEO AGAIN!!! Question, just ordered all the high octane tunes, and was thinking normally running the 93 in the mountains all the time and three times a year go to the dunes and just run 110 straight, , your opinion should I stay with 110 or go the extra mile and order pump assy, and find e85 in my area? IS it worth the difference? please honest opinion thanks Paul. I have watched every video since you started on the Mav r and learned a TON!!!!!
THANK YOU FOR THE KIND COMMENTS! It's worth going to E85. PLUS, I've experienced burning up oxygen sensors with 110 (unless you can get unleaded 110). AND here in CA I can find E85 for less than $4 per gallon whereas 110 is $10/gallon. Thanks again for watching!
I have the 3414 vortex. Length I’m fine. Width probably fine? The front tire would be in my slide which has the wood flap that can go up for more width. Looking an getting this can am
I have a similar situation in that the front tires (when I have my 35" sand tires) go in between the closed slide and the other wall. Check this video out as it will help you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gVXUnJbZ8rM.html
Ya, I was pleasantly surprised. Glad I did two light at each corner though. Even expensive lights would work better with more lights as the light gets blocked by stuff.
I used the same funnels, but bunched up the cone shaped end and tucked it into the hole in skid plate, then used my finger to spread the cone end back out to shape. So basically just flip funnel upside down from what you show and it worked great. No mess on skid or floor.
Good stuff man, love the videos, I'm from az . I bought a r about 6 months ago your videos have helped me with install of exhaust charge tube's and intake. Keep them coming.
I’m in the market for my first car. I’m getting the R for sure after watching your videos. My question is should I pay for the smart shock package? Thanks for all your videos.
Some shock tuners will tell you don't get the smart shox. I love my smart shox. I like a buttery smooth ride and being able to stiffen it up on the fly when I'm going to get busy.
@@HooverManeuvers that’s all I needed to brother. Thank you!! Looking forward to more videos. Are you looking at options for a turbo upgrade? Thoughts?
@@sstephenson00 this thing is a beast on E85 and stock turbo. If it was a strictly sand car or race car I might go big turbo but not at $4500. I ride all different terrains. And no matter what bigger turbo IS more lag. And I don't want to run in Sport+ all the time. If racing is your thing then do it.
@@HooverManeuvers I’ll do the e85. I don’t need to be the fastest just looking to have fun in different terrain. I’ll be rewatching your videos. Thanks again for doing what you do. Love it!!
