On this channel, #apilotsperspective, A pilot's Perspective; I document my journey from an obscure country in South America to a Captain in the United States of America flying the more affluent members of our society to the most beautiful places on earth. The impact of achieving my dream of becoming a pilot on my Daughters, and other relationships. How what I have learned along the way has influenced my character and personality.
Lived in Petoskey 25 years. Seen a lotta "fudgies" doing these selfie -stick "walking tours". And I've gotta say, this one has to be one of the absolute WORST, from both a resident's and a filmaker's perspective. Consider this constructive criticism, dear pilot, si vous plait: First, for a supposed "walkabout town" kinda video, your journey was disastrously disjointed and incongruent; laughably edited in a patchwork frame; you really gave no sense of where you were going (likely because you had no clue yourself...🙄) and whenever you got anywhere, you abruptly cut to another scene, blocks away; you failed to showcase ANY of the most notable downtown historical features, even though you were literally just feet away at times (re: Hemingway statue@Pennsylvania Park, Chief Petosega statue/historical marker right behind the Perry Hotel overlooking the bay)...so MUCH you neglected to video, but whatever. Clearly, you proved you're not only new to the Petoskey area, but new to this filming a RU-vid video thing. And that's OK. We've all gotta start somewhere. I found your video not only poorly-researched, but your filming skills (er...serious lack thereof...🙄) demonstrated how you seemingly have yet to master that skill, at least thus far. Your framing was sloppy; you had no filter control of glare and had frequent sun splotches; you had no low-key, cool "music to walk by" to underscore your walk; your only audio, in fact, was your breathing, your footsteps and occasional mumbling and overall incoherent chatter with random passersby. *sigh* 🙄Just kinda sick of watching folks like you come up to northern Michigan with their phones on selfie-sticks all pointed out and ready to film and being all like, "Hey! Lookit me up north here walking around this cool town by a Great Lake! Weeeee!!! Lookit Meeee!!!" and then they go and make a really dumb video. Just 👏 Like👏 This👏 🤣🤣
You are a smart man Phil .You are unfortunately correct as well. Most of the richest people in the world are white people ,and they are also prejudice against any other race but their own. This is an unspoken truth .lt isn't right ,but it's just one of the many things that aren't right about the richest most powerful people on the planet .We can pretend it isn't true because we don't want it to be ,but that doesn't end the reality of it all .Keep your head up bro ,we are doing what we like to do for a living ,and they pay us pretty well to do it .Not everybody can say this about their job.
HI- is it true pilotsin PHX and other hot/heavy airports won't take off in 100+ temeratures when the ground has less density --need more more runway???? I remember this in flight school. thanks!!
@ablogic2 yes. The performance data peaks out at a specific temperature. Temperature beyond this limit makes it impossible to tell how the airplane will perform. LAS during the summer is another difficult airport to takeoff from.
A pleasant way to get those 10,000 steps in. Your stroll reminds me of accompanying Peter, another RU-vidr who takes the viewer on many enjoyable walks around the bustling streets of Dublin, Ireland. Have you been there as part of your work? Continued success.
@@MrJunior1971 great question. However given the age of the plane and no desire by the company to make such an investment. It's unlikely we'll be upgrading the Wings.
The camera has a video stabilizer as a result the approach looks stable. There's also the attention needed to not be aware of the hole in front of you. It's something you've to experience to fully appreciate.
Colgan flight 3407 Q400 crashed in New York as the result of the stall knowingly as the stick shaker alarm and ignored before the crash. I am truly baffled by how this pilot with 3,300 hours and over 100 hours as a captain not know or recognize the stalls about to happen. it is always the first thing we learned in private pilot training. This is true for commercial pilots should have ongoing refresher tests to ensure the pilots do not forget their emergency procedures or understand flight characteristics. I am a firm believer in training and refresher test to ensure safe flying.
Great content brother keep it coming & if you feel like playing your music on your channel then do so. We are all guest here. Congratulations keep doing what you are doing. ✊🏿💪🏿🤟🏿✊🏿✊🏿🔥🔥🔥
Thanks again, sir. I am a Jamaican aviation enthusiast who just finished high school and aspired to become a corporate pilot one day, but I am currently struggling to find an opportunity to start pursuing my goal. However, I find your content motivating, sir.
Beautiful from take off to landing. I like the camera view and prefer the sound of the airplane over music. One question, what was that persistent sound that sounded like a phone ringing or machine gun? Looking forward to the next flight.
