Welcome to Bmaz Fishing!! Sit down, relax, and enjoy the day on the water bass fishing with me!! You’ll have a front row seat to all the good, bad, and the ugly. I review weather conditions, seasonal patterns, how and when to use different lures, and even throw in a little excitement on each trip!! My goal is to give you all the juice you need to go out and catch fish on your home body of water. No BS, just straight up REAL Fishing!!
Lol i felt your pain so bad when the plane flew over! I live next to an airfield community and it is IMPOSSIBLE to film anything here during the day 🤣🤣
I bet it was cause, like he said, he used to fish there years ago, and that would be right, and he used to fish Starke Lake cause he lived right across the street from Starke. But I gotta give you a little tip for johns Lake. Try watermelon red and fish right on the outside of the Kissimmee grass.
@bmazfishing yeah on the east side or toward the back it is stained but the main lake and going toward the west side the water is much clearer and horseshoe is good too. I'm probably going out there Saturday morning just for a little bit cause it's so hot!!
Your on the same school of fish that i usually am on in Fairview. Some 3s and 4s in that school but fair warning they probably wont eat another deep crank lol. We fish so many same places but completely different approaches. Good luck to you and keep up the good work. Your bound to catch a giant down here.
Hey B have u ever fished lake walk on water? Its either in Osceola or Polk county. I'm the guy who commented bout John's lake last week. Saw a lil bit of live on this video. The is called Weohyopaka which means walk on water. Its a fairly good sized almost completely round it used to have hydrilla everywhere even to the middle at 18 20 ft of water grown to the top. But it wasn't all the way cooked out there was plenty of room to fish. But anyways the lake was excellent. I got 2nd in a club tournament there yrs back. I got unlucky. Got a 5 pounder that was sick should have been 8+ then literally lost another fish on the next flip same size or bigger. I only weighed in 4 fish on that tournament. I'm not sure if the lake is the same or what condition it is in now. This was like 1998 last I was there. U should check it out
@@user-lq1yb6uz1o I’ve fished it a couple times back in that same time frame. It’s Polk, went with a guy I used to fish with when I’d come home for the summer. Believe it’s a drive from here, it was a hot lake then, not sure now.
I used to fish John's lake in the 90's there were absolute monsters. There wasn't near as many houses on it. The lake Eastside use to have marsh swamp so thick u couldn't even really get ur boat back there. There was so much structure in that lake was crazy. I caught my first 10 pounder in June of 99 in there there is a tiny pond at the entrance of deer Island a tiny round pond. I lost a 15 plus pounder in that pond broke my line. I was messing around with this big spinner bait and realing it in super fast from the middle making a big wake and this fish blasted it it so hard it looked like I threw a boling ball in the water. I think the lake got high and flooded over to the pond and the fish went in it and then the lake went down and that bass got stuck in there. I caught a few over 5 in the pond. I was so stupid I had that fish stuck in that tiny pond I should have went back every day with live bream or wild shiners until I got it to eat again. I have had 2 bass that big in my life and lost both. I'm still heartbroken over them. 25 yrs later. Thanks for the video. I love seeing John's lake videos. Brings back so many memories of my dad. I miss him he passed away in 08. Good luck buddy. U can catch em. I've watched a lot of ur videos
@@user-lq1yb6uz1o thanks dude I really appreciate that and I’m sorry about your dad! Really cool to hear these story’s! And glad the video brought back good memories, means a lot!! Crazy how those big fish seem to always get off and haunt us!!! Thanks for the comment!
@@bmazfishing I'm gonna sub to u. I've watched many of ur videos. I use to live in Winter garden. Then ocoee. I lived a Ross the street from starke lake there used to be big ones in starke lake too. My old neighbor caught a 16 pounder there in the 70's I think it was. Lake Hancock used to be good out there on 535. That area is so grown up now tho. My aunt and uncle live on 545. One of my best friends parent used to manage and live on the orange groves on the east side of John's lake. It was like 1700 acres I think it was. There were like 7 ponds on the property deep ones to like 40 ft for irrigation. The grove had John's lake shoreline along the east side I used to love fishing out there. Wish I could go back in time. The old johns lake used to be incredible. There was some absolute monsters in there. I used to fish the Wednesday night tournament there
@@user-lq1yb6uz1o thanks and wow that’s awesome. Use to be a lot of good fishing round here!! The thick marsh is still on the east side, when they let it grow. Got back there a few years ago when it was super thick. There was deep area in the ne corner, thought I found a secret gem, but no bites! Lol
@@bmazfishing yeah I fished that part too and didn't catch any either. It was like flooded cow pasture closest to the turnpike kinda. It I found 10 ft water there. It connects to black lake also. From that canal. But there has to be some spots where they are over there has to be
@@bmazfishing oh yeah I like that lol stratos u got. There usex to be a guy that fished in our tournament club had a 17 ft stratos almost like urs it could be the same as urs. But it had a 150 evinrude on it and that boat was fast it was easily 70 plus. Our boat was a 17 foot tidecraft and it would do high 60's almost 70 and his boat would leave us. Always liked stratos back in the day
