Nothing to see hear, just a bunch of lumberjacks and farm boys adding to the Geneva Checklist. 🍁 God Save Canada. My heart forever proudly red and white
My dad was a combat medic in nam, one time he volunteered to go out on a LERP patrol, as they often took medic volunteers. They were doing some recon on a company of NVA regulars when they were somehow discovered. It was a squad of five if i remember. They all got out safely, but the NVA troops were chasing them all the way to the emergency LZ. The huey dropped a line for them as it was too heavy of fire to land. Flew em out of there holding onto that line under the helicopter, right above the trees. Never volunteered for a LERP mission again😂 anyways, glad this video exist, ever since i heard that story i always think of this song accompanied to it
My brother was najaf... At the time, lieutenant Quigley... He retired more of a colonel now but.... This is the shit. This is what he doesn't talk about. Thank you
I recognize the exact video you used most of the combat sounds from 😂 1 ppcli in Afghanistan. Absolute crazy footage, a few of my instructors are in that footage. Good boys
My Brother made it home after 5 tours...... He is retiring June 10th of this year..... I know he saw shit we don't ever wanna see! I love and thank him for his service. He finished basic a few months before 9-11
"GET SOME G****" "DUDE THIS ISN'T NAM" "GOOD POINT CAPTAIN. WHAT WAR IS IT?" "IRAQ. WE TOLD YOU THIS." "WELL THAT GUY CAN'T TELL RIGHT NOW EITHER." "WHY WOULD THAT BE?" "HE JUST GOT MACKED. HE AIN'T GOT NO HEAD."
My grandfather was in Vietnam all he says when he talks about it is. "It was me or them, you don't know that feeling until you're in the moment, I'll never forget that hellhole."
