Hello hello I got mine yesterday so put servos in switch etc I uploaded quick video no talking just showing, you have covered everything on this video, You recommend upgrading anything straight away?
@@Garethfrostturkeythroat113 Awesome! Congratulations. If anything I would get rid of the plastic spur and carrier. Nothing else needs to be done unless you upgrade the engine. I have several upgrade videos for the Marder on my channel.
@@316RC ok cool would you do Another video on it, I myself will do a video on mine it will be interesting to see what number mine is compared to yours also your number is 134 , Anything you would advise me to do was all your bolts screws tight Big like and rang your bell
@@316RC oh okay I found a FG stadium trunk on marketplace and it's two-wheel drive with a c y engine it's like 4hp I ordered the parts for the four-wheel drive from them and I'm planning on fabricating a standalone lay shaft to install a Taylor 50gt but I have to say I love that bm5
Also if you look at the way it's made in the back in between the bulkheads you can install a HPI Baja transmission but I want that four-wheel drive I love the way your truck runs
I can’t nock this guy it’s a lovely car the one thing I would sort out is filling the fuel tank lifting the car on its side all most is not good but the guy new that I will say nice car sir . I had the FG MARDER years ago with a power pipe I loved it I would like another one the fuel is so simple just add rock oil. Any way good racing to you sir. 💪👍
My therory is that the reason the fuel tank seems awkward, is because it might come from a chain saw or gas leaf blower or a similar tool. Much like the carb (chain saw).
Very nice. I am seriously considering getting the electric version so my neighbors won't hate me. Lets talk about those beautiful KEF speakers.. how do you like them?
Look great man...did you have to cut out the body mount holes or did he do it? I'm going to send him a 5ive-t 2.0 body from Grafil just asking before I send it to him...thanks
@316RC Hey I need your help I cannot get ahold of Thomas from Pitdawg hydro he gave me the wrong address do you still have his address I cannot reach him on fb I have FedEx on hold with my 300 dollar Grafil body to be painted
Great video, very professional install. I’ve never heard of using threadlocker to help slide on a bearing. Actually I’ve had bearings seize because threadlocker got into the bearing. This diff looks bulletproof!
is what happens if you dont have an actual engineering team. whoever designed and built alot of 5th scales just did it all wrong. u need to remove 500 parts to get to one thing. and all these aftermarkets seem to have problems with fitment. or need a bandaid like shims..
Did you test this out on your rigs yet? Im debating on this servo or same ones I used on my Raminator..they were the SNDRC v2 2500 yet they did use external power. Im digging this idea for plug in play on receiver as Im trying to keep less is more in my losi 5t. Im running belted method wheels so theres a bit lag in power on steering at present time.
please tell me, when you turn the differential shafts in different directions, do they spin smoothly without effort? I have a new differential and when I turn the axles in different directions, they resist a few degrees, then spin freely, as if they spin at some intervals
That’s interesting. My heavily used Rovan had its diff completely locked. I took it apart and put it back together. Smooth now. No idea why it was locked. No signs of excessive wear and no locking parts inside. You should rebuild it and see if you can make it smooth at all times.
Nice build but you could EASILY get a lONG NECK funnel and heat it up and bend it to the desired angle so there would be ZERO need to turn the car over but I'm sure you have figured that out by now...
Quick answer is no but.... Rovan is know to be stingy on the diff fluid. They are easy to take apart and at least check before running. I would. If not you maybe re building the diff sooner than later.
