Dont listen to the haters. I had this issue once and would've appreciated to know how to deal with the situation before. I was able to unlock my back seat and open the trunk but a jump start is easier if you have another car around.
You could have easily reached that. By pulling down the back seat crawling. Turn in pulling the safety ledge, which made more sense. They have these things you just encase. The battery dies on your keyboard. Please use common sense use your brain
Step ¹. Pop hood Step ². Find positive and negative engine bay terminals Step ³. Connect jumper cables OR battery jump box Step ⁴. Energize the system Step ⁵. Pop trunk You're welcome 🙏
Got a flat on my KTM 890 Duke R going through an s turn at about 100mph 2 weeks ago. Smacked the guardrail at over 85, kept it up and drove it home with 2 flats. $1200 in dmg. No injuries.
So my question is what's wrong with the Jeep because it's better than other vehicles and not copy off other brands that just got different name plates same Patrick's everything
My moms jeepie has eye lashes because she gets taken through rivers, multi hour high way trips and she has a cooler matched carry on, my moms wrangler is probably the most daily driven JL on the planet.
Dude I found a complete 2001 Silverado with a lq4/4l80/4.10heaes/4x4 with 287k miles that I would LOVE to swap into my Jeep, my question is : should I be afraid of the milage? And it does have a either some lifter noise or some piston slap that seems to go away after couple minutes. Should I buy it for my swap?
Compression & leak down test of the truck will crank. Then pull valve covers to check for oil residue or sludge build up and to check rock arms (looking to see if they are loose)
