This channel is a collection of news clips on concept cars, high tech gadgets, robots, energy, environmental concerns etc., also include a series of video clips made by kids, family vacations etc., plus other cool things that amuse me.
One thing that amazes me is looking at common things from an uncommon first person perspective. e.g. looking at goldfish from the bottom of a fish tank, watching a volleyball game from above, experience ocean waves slam at the camera on a Hawaiian beach, closeup view of a pet turtle at ground level or following a ski run from the viewpoint of a helmet cam etc. I hope these unusual points of view would amaze you in spite of the mundane subject matters. Please don't forget to vote and comment if you also appreciate that kind of videos too.
OTIS is a good choice. Thyssenkrupp also has experience in high rise elevators from the Freedom Tower and KONE modernized the elevators at the Sky Tower.
PARENTS ARE ACTUALLY JUNCOS CAN TELL BY THE COLOR OF THEM AND I WONDER IF A CROW OR HAWK ATTACK THE NEST WITH PARENTS TRYING TO FIND FOOD FOR THEIR YOUNG
It's a bad design at the spigot head. It's a fundamentally flawed design and GE should be ashamed of themselves. The Red line clogs and the waste water leaks by design all over the d**king place.
3:41 CRAZY! They go so fast, yet can go so slow! The motor must be spining so slow. Example: suppose you have a motor that spins 10,000 rpm. When you want to spin it slow say 10rpm you run into problems, the motor would not have enough torque at so little voltage or frequency (deciding on motor type; DC or AC), you need a closed loop feedback, if the speed is going below what we want it would speed up and if it is too fast it will slow down, but still is VERY tricky to do that! Edit: fixed grammatical issues as well as spellings
Remember lifts are direct drive and a high speed lift will have a motor that is not even geared to the traction sheave. These machines are essentially just a very big powerful motor. They need to have the torque to drive a load away from a standstill and are designed to do just that. If you’re used to seeing electric motors running at thousands of rpm, you have to realise that these are very very different
@@caroleast9636 I totally agree these motors have VERY high torque, but what I meant is it is like driving a car that is in 5th gear and wanting to go 1mph, you just can’t do that very easily. If you see I said “Example: suppose…” that means it is an example
