Very good explanation, not my style, but I watched all of it, because you explain whole technique. I would like pure white concrete kitchen top, do you have recommendations how to make pure white and even more white concrete top?
There is detailed mix instructions for every mold on the website. Look at the bottom of the description of each mold, and it will tell you how much of each material to mix.
Short, straight to the point video. I am thinking of using titanium dioxide to lighten a cement mortar since white cement is prohibitively expensive here, I'm glad to see my idea isn't 100% ignorant and crazy.
@@GlobMarble white sand is even more expensive unfortunately 😅 so it is reserved for fish tanks and other aesthetic purposes that require only small amounts. Thankfully I'm not looking for a fully white mortar, I only want to lift that deep grey cement colour to a lighter tone.
You can find the link to the mold in the description of the video. The molds website page has detailed casting instructions for each separate mold model we sell
Since you used the leftover dried product line to measure how much concrete to remove wouldn't it be true that you could fill your mold with water, pour into a bucket, mark the fill line and then use that much dry ingredients? Then weigh that to figure out how much water to use?
This might be the best, most efficient DIY demonstration video on RU-vid. Not a second of your time wasted. This guy delivers more clear, concise info in a few minutes that so many others would take 10 times as long. Outstanding.
So, if I put this on a concrete driveway, especially in environments where it gets below freezing with ice in winter and really hot +90 in the summer, won't the new top level of stamped concrete crack and or chip away??? Does it really support the weight of a car or pick up truck? Thanks!
This material is specifically designed to adhere to old concrete if the proper prep work is done. And It is also designed for driveways and other areas where vehicle traffic is common
