"The bottom of the camera (..) is going to have a universal tripod mount. Now some people have gone that's kind of weird why is that set so far back and not in the center like it is on a lot of other cameras. The reason that is, is because when the lens extends, because there's so much glass in this, the weight shifts. So this is just going to be its center balance area when you have it on a tripod." Humm..... 🤔.... Sorry to say that but you might have some good knowledge of photography and cameras, but... how to say.... when it comes to basic physics you have serious gaps! 😧🫢
I’ve watched a few videos on this camera so far, and hands down this is the best one. I was intimidated as heck when I first picked this up, but after an hour I feel way more confident. Thank you very much.
Can someone help me? I have the mark iii but how do i change shutter speed in manual mode? It is slightly different from the mark ii. I can change shutter in TV mode but I prefer manual.
Great video!!! I learned a lot from it without being overwhelmed. I've heard that you can zoom in further than the standard 480 by using the Optical Zoom feature. How does that work? Do you have a tutorial on using the Optical Zoom?
Difficult for the first time????? That's the understatement of the Century! A little frustrating,,, I almost smashed both my phone and z9 but they cost to much!
I have just got this camera, so excited, but so scared. It is mind numbing, this video has taught me so much. Will I get the full extent of what it can do, who knows, but this video will definitely help. Thank you
Many thanks for a great walkthrough. my RX10 has recently started moving the square green focusing pixels all around the screen when I focus on a subject. In the past it would lock in and the pixel squares would not move around. I have not messed with any of the settings I originally had. What has changed please?
To use the Panasonic FZ80 for video do I need to set it on any special settings? I have it set to single shot picture for pictures so do I need to change that? Anything else??
Perfect just what I was looking for. Have you ever thought of doing more in depth videos? I would definitely pay for more detailed explanations. Your style of teaching is very easy to follow. I was very into 35 mm photography about 40 years ago and was feeling a little overwhelmed until your video. Edited for spelling.
Well done !! I just got this bad boy a couple of weeks ago and am loving it ! One question, how can we adjust the exposure compensation? Thanks In Advance!
The tripod mount isn't for balance, it's done like this to give access to the battery door when the camera is mounted. It's so small that balance isn't affected.
I am in the UK and there is no "food" setting on the dial and there is no option to do time lapse either...is there a hardware update to get the time lapse or food photography settings?
