Gita and Upanishads are the core scriptures of the Hindu Tradition and have universal applicability in our day-to-day life. The messages and teachings are logical, rational, experiential in nature, and not pivoted on any blind faith. For Overseas Indians, NRI, Teens, and Young Adults, this channel offers an opportunity to get your common questions answered and understand and live the traditions and practices with rationality linked to philosophical, logical, and scientific constructs.

I'm Mahesh Harvu and over the last 20+ years, I've immersed myself in rationally understanding the tradition, and practices of Hinduism and have realized that the Gita and Upanishads are the gems I was looking for that provided practical, logical, and scientific universal answers to life's questions.
This is a divine unveiling, unravelling propaganda PR of de Celestial Song of God, de Sacred Geeta - de Essence of de abstruce & Lofty truths of de holy Upanishads, Ved, Vedanta, bhagavat Gita & Bhaagavat Puranas.🎉
Thank u sir for a clearer spiritual understanding of de nitty grittys of de play of man, his consciousness & de Cosmos, a rational practical & thought provoking sermon.🎉❤
You explain these ideas very well, thank you for this video. I have taken a long journey through what might be best described as "modern yoga". It is a concoction of ill-informed ideas that have been hacked out of their original context, of the beautiful teachings of ancient India. As I listen to you describe the authentic teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, it makes me realise more and more how inadequate and how damaging "modern yoga" is to these glorious spiritual texts. Likewise, as I study Patanjali's teachings in detail, it is obvious to me that he would not recognise, nor would he approve, the yoga as it is practiced and taught in the modern era. It is illuminating to hear such beautiful ideas presented today as they likely were thousands of years ago. Thank you.
Beautiful explanation of the difference between richness vs. prosoperity. "Rich is just the presence of material wealth but prosperity is more than that.Prosperity bring mental peace, brings an abundance of knowledge and recognition in the society. Wholesome prosperity. Amicable relationships between family members. All these are essential and this is the prosperity that Lakshmi Devi brings into our lives." Thank you for sharing 😊
Modern & simplistic. Smt Anuradha has eased big concepts into simple practices and Shri Mahesh, you put forward important questions and recapped her response for emphasis. 👏🏽 With her tremendous experience and wisdom Smt Anuradha reaches anyone at whatever level of spirituality they are at. Eye & Eyelid pairing example for atma & paramatma is a gift received. Importance of Discipline, raising children well (a tapas), using artha & Kama to channelise between dharma & moksha, responsibilities of a man & fulfilling rNas as a duty to complete the sansaric life are all lessons to go forward with. Thank you. -Suparna
Wonderful! Thank you for this series on the panchakalakriya, your explanations have been thorough and easy to understand. Of course, the difficulty is in the discipline of practice. 🙏
Very useful and practical. I am quite new to religion and spiritual practice. Though, I have spent a huge amount of time getting to understand Patanjali, which I see as spiritual guidance and the means by which one reaches realisation of the supreme. From the little I know of the Bhagavad Gita, the way one should prepare are always described differently but, in practice, are very similar. I am enjoying your presentations very much. Namaste.
Indeed spiritual practice is a journey. Nice to hear and glad you are enjoying the messages of the Gita/Upanishads and their applicability to everyday life. Thank you.

I enjoyed your explanation. Thank you. A question that popped into mind as you read the list of lokas is: Why is that some chant the Gayatri Mantra as "'Aum bhuur bhuvas svaH" and other chant "Aum bhuur bhuvas suvaH"?
Thank you. The Upanishads/Vedas have both flavors as it does not materially change the meaning given the root of the word, to your question on Gayatri in the first line, the Taittiriya Scripture (source of it) has it as svaH.
Hello Mahesh, thank you for this video. I learned many things from you today. I especially found it useful to know the names and the rationale for each of the various steps performed in welcoming a deity into the home as a guest. Also, lovely to know that any offering of devotion will always be accepted - I appreciate you telling the verse from the Gita so we can read this for ourselves. Have a wonderful day :-)
