Seriously, luckily I didnt have to fight anyone to this point, but everytime I get in to a intense situation on the street or even witness one, I get literally overwhelmed by Adrenaline and start to freeze. Normally I am a pretty tall and strong guy, but in these situations I have no strength, I can barely talk and think...this is the worst feeling.
Couple of years ago at a club in Longview, Texas three guys were jumping one guy and they did not know he had a knife the whole time. Didn’t even know they were getting stabbed and cut during the fight. One of them passed away. Adrenaline and alcohol is a liar.
In 2:22 minutes, when you say to that black guy and tell him "i dont want to fight". that is the way when he gonna knockout you or hit you with his head in the the face. big mistake
Easy with someone you trust but not so much so for someone trying to take your life. It takes much more skill to defend from a knife than ot does to protect. The best advice anyone could be given is to carry a flashlight. Most attacks happen after dark. A bright light to the eyes sucks big time and is dosorienting and will give you time to get away. Remember, the idea is not to defend yourself while being attacked. The idea is preserving your life.
I once used a garrotes made of two pens and a rope. Of course, I didn't actually use it to kill, since it was just training to avoid getting thrown, and he tapped out, but still. I think it's cool

How to React if Someone Wants to Fight You: Stand your ground, wait for them to close the distance and give the 1st punch. One solid punch to the solarplexis will put take the breath out of them, which gives you a massive physical and psychological advantage. But don't be an asshole that deserves to be punched.
I'm writing a story with a military battle. Includes a man holding two captives in a headlock--one in his left arm, the other in his right arm. If I post a couple quotes, can someone (preferably skilled/knowledgeable about a fighting style) take a look, to see if I'm describing it well and how the twosome escape? I could use some pointers. @MM5WX You can take advantage of his height by fighting him in close distance. High guys tend to have greater reach, so it's logical to stay close. But the greatest advantage you can have is in wrestling, because weight distribution in tall guys is different. It's easy to break the opponents balance by trying to grab their legs and pushing them up with the use of your shoulder. If done right, you will be surprised how easy it is for your tall opponent to trip. But keep in mind that street fights are dirty and nobody will let you wrestle and grab your legs that easily.
