@@sharoncruisingscene It definitely is a beautiful ship. Unfortunately, I was only able to video and post a very small portion of it. It’s the biggest ship we’ve ever been on. Have fun on your upcoming cruise and really enjoy all that the ship has to offer. Thank you for your comment and for the sub. Cheers! 🥂
It sure does. Looks and feels brand new. I actually hate to see it go because I love that coach. However, I realize that a smaller class C is best suited for our needs. Thanks for your comment. Safe travels.
Enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing. Even with the many nomenclature differences between the Air Force and Navy, it was great to see how the Iowa was doing on your visit.
my dad navy man was on it in 1942 first one on it every one else came abord in 1943 he saw the shell that hit the iowa bb61 shot from a island they moved out further .

Surprisingly it doesn’t. Maybe I am just used to it but I didn’t have any issues. Of course, I didn’t go that far north where there are more curves on the 101. I just went up to Central California.
You know when this started back in 1950 it was all about what young men could build with stuff you had to find from a junk yard or make yourself. Most were built by one or maybe 2 guys. These days it is just plain stupid. This is not about the capabilities of of young guys anymore, it is all about the one that throws the MOST MONEY AT IT WINS. SOMETHING TO BE REAL PROUD OF. hope the owners of such cars are proud. You have single handedly ruined many young guy's dreams. This needs to stop, this is my opinion. All you ones with all the $$. Build something fot next year's show. One stipulation, you have to do it all yourself.
@@EOWweekendRVer the show to me anyway is not about the money. i look at the cars, and besides getting blown away by the cool customs, i look for ideas. im old school. in the 70's my sister bought me a subscriptiopn to hot rod magazine. ive been hooked since. just purchased back issues from 1975 of hot rod and popular hot rodding. remember the van scene? van pulls? not that i was into vans too much, but it was another aspect of hot rodding. i also have a old issue of something and in it terry cook i believe did an article called 100,000 hot rods. showcasing the builders and the cars. remember john buttera? he writes about buttera put a jag rear in a rod with inboard disc brakes. most of these builders are gone. i could not afford thier work then or now. but the ideas! when i was 17 i built a 64 falcon convertible with a 260 v8 and 4 speed. im 6 foot tall. the trunk lid was at my chest. original 14" wheels in front, 15's in the rear. sidepipes, headers. it was a hit every where i went. thou hard to get thru inspection due to the rear height. when i took my girlfriend for her first ride she said; ive never been in a car before where your staring at the ground in front of you. i wish i could go back to the 70's!
Yes, Sid. Actually I meant to say that it started on 1950 in Oakland. I realized after I published it that I omitted that part. Sorry. Thank you for your comment.
Great video Doing some due Diligence on a RV resort in Las Vegas . Wow was looking forward to booking in for January next year to find out they only take Class A motor homes
They just added another area for, I believe, class B’s. But yes, I believe I’ve only seen RV’s there. You might want to give them a call to to be sure though.
@@EOWweekendRVer Have you been to any San Diego area beaches? Or up to Ventura or Santa Barbara area? I prefer less densley populated, more rural, beaches.
@@patr70 Yes, I actually have. In San Diego, I’ve been to Mission Bay RV Park among others. I’ve also been up to Pismo Beach and Paso Robles. You are correct that some less-populated areas are sometimes better.
