no major effect on play what are you saying it gave argentina an attacking possibillity that otherwise would´ve been an atticking possibilaty for the netherlands stop glazing messi he spiked an ball like some volleyball player thats an yellow everytime if its done on purpose no matter the plays learn the rules bro if messi went of that would´ve meant they needed an new captain and messi scored an penalty so if it were anybody else taking that they might have missed. and noone is comparing maradonna to messi bro stop comparing diffrent games and just look at the game itself not other world cup games not maradonna games from a long time ago the refs are diffrent every game you should know that so one game has nothing to do with another one.
The Dutch have always hated Argentina since the 1978 world cup. Van Gaal made sure he screwed up the careers of Riquelme and DiMaria while playing under him
The hatred was obvious, not just from Van Gaal’s statements before and after the game, but from attitudes of players like Weghorst. So it’s great Argentina won and Messi had words with Van Gaal.
In the Croatia game, Messi was seen in real discomfort holding his injured hamstring. He pushed himself very hard to win and deserved the World Cup like nobody else did.
He Got Away With A Handball Which Thomas Muller Vs Argentina In 2010 Wasnt Scott Free Like Messi's Was But Muller Didnt Bitch Like Messi After The Game Despite Messi Not Giving A Yellow For A Handball. The Fact That Messi Got The Ref Sent Home And Not A Yellow For The Handball Is Hella Suspocious........
My man, I have the answer to all your suspicions and concerns about that handball. Watch the video and tell me afterwards if you still have any doubts at all👇 m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CW4NBHkXLGM.html
So an opinion an ref rating and matches that have nothing to do with the game your talking about are facts bro what about when Messi decided to play volleyball in the middle of the match and nothing happend and all the other Argentinian fouls Messi and some other top players from Argentina would be out if the ref didn’t get payed
My Man, I have the answer to all your questions in the below video, made especially for the Holland game. Watch it and let me know what you think👇 m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CW4NBHkXLGM.html
@@captainfalconmain6576 That will be the worst day in football/soccer history. But I’m optimistic he’ll retire after the next World Cup. It’s going to be hosted where he lives and that’s good reason for him to stay around for two more years, hopefully 🤞🙏🏻☺️
If it was rigged, the referee would allow the Martinez goal vs Ksa, Referee wouldn't give 10 minute ad on time in quarter final where as Argentna leading 2-1,In final if fifa wish to give cup to Argentna why they given penalty to france in last minutes,
Exactly! It’s an argument that just doesn’t make any sense. Thanks for the comment and please subscribe so we can keep making videos and grow the channel ☺️
man is speaking facts like if anyone says the world cup is rigged after this video, this makes that person a hater like literally in the world cup finals mbappe was given a penalty and the ref could have easily not allowed the penalty and mbappe scored his second goal an was not disallowed like explain that like if it was rigged, Argentina would have beaten saudi arabia like 5-0 since it was sooooo riged😒like literally I am not even joking this is straight up a big lie ronaldo fans are saying when messi lost the world cup 2014 ronaldo fans started mocking messi saying things like pessi and crybaby when mbappe won the 2018 world cup it was so fair right? but for some bloody reason, when messi won the world cup 2022 it was all suddenly rigged💀if messi won it in any years like 2010 2014 2018, ronaldo crybabies would literally say it is rigged and this man proved everything that the wc is not rigged so shut up and stop crying and just accept that Messi won it fair and square
Thanks a lot for the great comment. Please subscribe so we can keep growing the channel and making videos that tell the truth about what happens in the world of football ☺️
salah got his hands into ramos' space and ramos being ramos risking his own life for a tackle while not knowing it was a risk for salah as well. as a real madrid fan the referee was literally standing right in front of the tackle he should have stopped the game n shud hv given him a red card as well as fine him after the final especially for what he did to Karius but I dont know why the referee decided that it was okay.
Awful tackle by Ramos even if Salah got in his space because in football, players have and always will get into each other’s space. What Ramos then did to Karius was criminal. The poor guy not only lost the final but his career was literally destroyed. All because of Ramos!
Two things, that save was in the final 30 seconds of the game, there was no coming back from this and it protected the legacy of the greatest player who ever graced the game.
Yes, those are the two things that made the save iconic. But the Casillas save against Robben is one that we must never ever forget, and for a very good number of reasons.
I'm 89 and wish I could remember High School Spanish enough to thank Martinez for his outstanding sportsmanship and agility. His anticipation and reflexes are a work of art in the frame of the goal. Others may make an occasional 'great save,' but Martinez is always greater than great. Muchas gracias, Señor Martinez
Gracias por dejar un comento y por ver el video. Let’s help one another with our Spanish 😄 Yes, the save was indeed a work of art, and most importantly, it helped protect the great legacy of Lionel Messi.
Its interesting how people who haven't even watched the last 3 finals go on the internet shouting about "the greatest save of all time" / "the greatest final ever"
Interesting indeed. And that’s why this video was made, so that a great save from Martinez doesn’t let the world forget about another save, just as terrific, if not maybe even better in certain ways.
You said it yourself, for the overwhelming majority, but not for the entirety of people. The Martinez save was terrific, but so was the Casillas save. Casillas’ save was better in certain aspects, actually.
Netherlands as all other former great colonial powers from Europe has much more influence in football world than Argentina does, and being from that type of countries arrogance and hypocrisy are very often main features of peoples characters. They do not now how to loose to a "lesser" opponent, they do not see all the privileges they get as such. Just look 2018 final, how France won that game. Official half time stats: Cro 12 shots 1 goal ; Fra 1 shot 2 goals. They stole that final, it was disgusting to watch. But Colonial power won, and everything is OK. All complains now come because country that won is not in a club of chosen few.
I was disgusted too by the 2018 final. The foul that resulted in the first goal was an absolute joke and not a foul in any way, and the penalty at the end of the first half was not a penalty. Awful referee! Yet nobody said a word but when Messi wins fair and square, people won’t stop talking nonsense about the World Cup being rigged. Ridiculous!
@@ahmedelaroussi Always the same, if you are not part of the Colonial club you must be a thief or a cheat, bad person in any case. But when you are a member of that special club, what ever you do, you are always portrayed as the virtues one.
This conversation is all about the "Greatest save of all time". Not about the greatest-ever goalkeeping performance overall in a single game! Cassillas' save against Robben was not in the *last minutes of extra time* like the Martinez's for crying out loud!!! Even if Cassilas conceded that goal, there was more than enough time to recover but we all know if Martinez conceded there, that would've been WC gone!!! So these two are not even comparable imo!
First off, you don't know if there would've been enough time to recover. If anything, pressing in the attack to recover would've given Holland's very strong forwards plenty of space to score more goals. I mean if Robben got through twice in a goalless draw, imagine what he'd do if Spain was attacking. Now, the Dibu save was spectacular and definitely one of the most important saves in football history, but for a good number of reasons, the Casillas save was just as good, if not better in certain aspects.
@@ahmedelaroussi So, tell me what's impossible and what's not, is it recovering after conceding mid-game or is it recovering from conceding in the LAST MINUTE OF EXTRA TIME which can be the LAST KICK OF THE GAME? I think I've given you enough reasons to pick the right save between these two as the most important save of all time. actually, it's a no-brainer if only you are unbiased here!
@@thusharalakshan1961 Again the Dibu save is spectacular. But your opinion is based on the timing of the save, PERIOD. And although that's definitely a factor, my opinion (which is in no way biased, because it's just an opinion based on the events that went down) is based on other factors like the opponent (Mbappe, or even Robben would've scored unlike Muani who used unnecessary force instead of precision), the striker's angle, etc. The video actually states that the similarities are great between both saves, but if you see that of Martinez as better, I totally respect that because it was a terrific save.
I'm with you on this. Casillas' full game performance was outstanding as he was at the absolute peak of his powers at the time. But that save from Martínez gave Argentina a world cup
@@jaungiga Totally respect your opinion and you’ve made a good and solid point. The debate seems to be on the timing of the save and which is definitely debatable. But I think what everyone will agree on is that both saves were outstanding.
@@ahmedelaroussi Ronaldo's numbers and record are far superior, but that's no what makes somebody great. I could name ten players off the top of my head that were far better players than Messi without even thinking about it
It was absolutely scandalous, when he didn't get ANYTHING for that blatant foul Paredes must have gotten the second yellow as well Argentina was absolutely shamelessly carried by the referees in that game, it was obvious and disgusting
It was a handball in the midfield area with no effect whatsoever on play. And the Paredes shot hit an empty bench without possibly harming anyone. Absolutely no way referee Lahoz would carry Messi and Argentina. The guy is speculated to be a Real Madrid fan. And a foul that led to an equalizer in the final seconds is proof he wouldn’t favor Argentina. Argentina was the better team that night. Period.
It stands the way it is. Yes indeed. BTW the video argues in Messi's favor because it was really unfair to claim the World Cup was rigged in his favor.
Home field advantage at its finest. If Bolivia can make teams play at 12,000 ft then we can make them play in the cold. Hell Canada should have qualifiers in Yellowknife to really press their advantage.
You can't foresee the future and can't stay where you are forever. But the way things turned out when he left, then yeah, you're right, he should've stayed.
But when he left Chelsea he was only 28 years old! How the heck could he let that happen given his talent?! Well at least officially he ended his career after the disastrous Real Madrid era.
Yeah, both players have been extremely unlucky. But at least Coutinho won a number of trophies during his career. Kane, however, remains to be 100% trophy-less without a single title.
But the Argentinean keeper gave it back, while winning the world cup. While holding the golden glove trophy. An eye for an eye just makes the whole world blind, one love ❤
Hehe. With the way you put it, we’ll keep seeing this until either one side wins or both sides are even. But for the love of football, we’ll just have to digest these celebrations ❤️
