I have a 2017 mercury ct on a pontoon boat. Came as a package. I’d stay away from Mercury. I’ve had nothing but running sensor issues and dealer can’t seem to fix even with a mercury platinum warranty on it. I’ve had the boat 2 months now, but only had it for a week to use. Been sitting at the dealer waiting on back order parts from mercury forever.
Mine acts like it dont want to crank. Like its not getting fuel. The pump comes on. But i have to try 4 or 5 times then it will crank. Once running its fine. I replaced the fuel filter. Do you think i need to take out fuel rail filter??

I had a toyota forklift apart once to fix a broken timing gear and it was made of some sort of plastic fiber. $500 for a new plastic gear. Seems like a scam
