Free Camping, Caravans RV's Motorcycles Kayaks Drones, exploring in WA, this is My life since turning 50 (born 1959) but still feeling 20. This channel is about what I do to keep myself feeling young, in Summer I go fishing in the Kayak with a bit of Stealth camping and touring in my van. When it turns to the cooler months Hiking (not very often) and motorcycle off road camping is my pleasure, I also like doing a bit of DYI and have added a few product reviews in for good measure. I have uploaded some drone footage from my Mavic Mini and Mavic Pro. I have also taken up photography so will also be adding a playlist with a variety of photos I have taken, probably some better than others. SHORTS I have started to add some shorts videos, these are mainly to promote existing videos, but I will be including a number of Van life hacks so keep an eye out for them and other info that would be too short for a full video, your comments are welcome on them. Thanks for watching Pete
Wow, was researching about potentially camping in this town but I don't think I will now. I've been spooked by this video & one person in the comments who recalled visiting as a child gave me chills. Great watch though
I know what you mean,🤣 the camp site at the oval looks great and I think the pub has now reopened , I am thinking of that for an up coming trip , Cheers for watching 👻👻👻
Had to laugh "you wouldn't want to come here for a romantic evening" - oh dear, puts me in my place, the simplest of country offerings are heaven in my eyes! I'm an ex Merredin resident, lived in the Leonora / Laverton area, Wyndham / Kununurra, Paraburdoo. Gods Country, all of them xxx
Hi Kerri , the night I was there it was full of family's with kids🏃♂️🏃♂️ a great social atmosphere , but for someone proposing to their girlfriend over a candle light dinner🍷 I think you would be better off out in the carpark where it was quieter 🤣🤣, a great spot , thanks so much for watching and your kind comment , best regards Pete , keep the shiny side up .
I live in York, a magic place you need to visit, I have some videos on it , heaps of history , free camping for Caravan and RVs walk into town , motor museum
Jarrahdale is a lovely little town and the closest free site to our home. Nice walk trails, plenty of history but really sad that Gooralong Park was locked up 'temporarily' and never re-opened. Used to be a lovely place to camp and walk.
Hi and thanks for a great meal I hope that the video gets more heading your way , as at writing this the video as had nearly 5000 views , I will be back Thanks again Pete 👍😎🍹🍷

Hi Peter I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos . This is exactly the sort of enjoyment I need . I've recently started visiting the small towns around Perth. So far I've done York, Northam, Dwellingup, Pinjarra , Corrigin. And Donneybrook and Bridgetown. Wow these videos have inspired me to do so much more 😊. My favourite find so far is York. You are so lucky if you live there !
Welcome aboard! Glad to here you have enjoyed the videos , l moved to York about 20 years ago and love the history and quite , keep the shiny side up and stay safe out there 😊 Cheers Pete
G'day I'm heading to the south west next week to start lap 2 of Australia. I'm always on the lookout for a great pub meal. Maybe catch you on the road sometime. Sorry I don't have a youtube channel.
Nice video, I used to live in Raventhorpe. Once a week i would fo swimming lessons with all the other kids along side that huge old jetty. One fishermen caught a huge 3 meter Grey nurse shark just the other side of the jetty as we was swimming about half way out. They told our instŕuctor who was walking along the jetty supervising uscall to call us out. We all went to have a look as they bought the boat in. Wow what a big shark it got stuck in their net, They pulled in up on the boat trailer and off to the fish shop😅😅😅. You should have taken video gloing out on that jetty. In fact Jetties are an iconic thing where ever there is one do video of it. Someone should do jetties of Australia.
Hi and thanks for the comment, I will keep it in mind next time I am on a jetty, I see they are very popular for photographers doing long exposures, I have taken a few myself around the state including Augusta and Rockingham, keep the shiny side up. Pete
If you have the means to stay warm, it's a great time of the year to get out into WA's wheatbelt. I'll also drop a plug for the small shire camping areas and caravan parks if your need power. They're welcoming, mostly really well maintained and comparatively cheap. Great episode. Thanks.
I hope it did not bring back bad memories , I felt a presence the who time I was there , I would love to see it restored and used to educate . Thanks for watching and your comment .
I think that ruin at the start of the video was one we made a vid about some time ago but the owners were none too happy about it and we had to take it down. Facey's book is a really good read for anyone who hasn't read it yet. The water slide in Kulin was a bit of an eye opener when we first went there :)
Yer ! Kulin is a great spot , I was setting up the drone on the road and a bloke stopped to see I was OK and when I said what I was doing he said it would be OK to go in to film .
Sorry for the late reply on your video only just got back from holiday in walls looks like a really nice place there great video hope you and family are all well Don 🤠🇬🇧👍👍👍👌
Mukka is a great little town. We always drop in to the second hand bookshop in town and usually pick up a bunch of great local history books about W.A. We stayed in one of the little cabins last time, really cheap and very nice. The camp kitchen is one of the best we have seen. So many great places to check out in that area too.
