What's the difference between yours Progressive Suspension 11-1527 18.5 Progressive Rate Fork Spring,Black verses the 11-1577 that only shows on their website for a 2019 Harley 883?
So this is a ridiculous question but where does the hot wire hooked to the starter go? Because this sportster I just picked up has another one that goes to the harness and the one on the starter. Do they go on the same battery terminal or what?
If I remember correctly there is a big wire that goes directly from the battery or main harness to the solenoid. There is a small trigger wire that goes from the relay to the solenoid.
oetiker clamp, at HD engineering they pronounce it "OH-Ticker" clamp. My friend has 2012 "Forty-Eight" XL1200X. This is the same place his is leaking, thanks for the video.
I was 4K miles into mine, “break in period”. The seat is garbage and uncomfortable for anything longer than an hour. You might as well be sitting on a brick. DO NOT BUY
The SDC pro seems to have pretty good resale. Hopefully you were able to recoup some of your money. I've done 10 hour days on it and absolutely love it. To me the soft seats that look comfortable are no good after an hour.
I have a 2021 sporster 883, think if i buy the gauge speedometer mount you did, it would still work for my sporster? I was also planning on doing a road warrior fairing on it, think it would still work?
I think the speedo mount would work. Can’t say I’ve seen a road warrior on a 39mm front end. I’ve ran the Amazon repop T-Sport on a 39mm front end thought
I don't trust all relays, you never know if someone bought one & returned the bad one,Id have got another one. Not much annoying then tearing apart anything just to replace Junk & need redo again. Hope ur bikes better. ✌
Mine clicks when i first start it up after not running it for a week. the first start it clicks then the second it starts right up. After i ride it around any start ups it acts normally. What do you think it is? The relay? Or just a battery slowly dieing?
watching you load that thing was the most stressful experience of my life, not even bested by a time I almost sent my buddies truck off a 30 foot ridge
I just installed a Barnette extra plate clutch pack and heavier clutch spring in my 2006 Electraglide. The pull on the clutch lever was brutal so I installed a Muller power clutch, now the lbs. pull is about the same as the OEM clutch ramp assembly was but now I can't find neutral. I've gone back and set both the adjustments at the pressure plate (1/4 turn)and the cable (Just 1/8" free play). That's as close as I think possible without compromising the throw-out bearing (having it constantly engaged), but still no luck. If I could find a clutch lever that stood out from the grip a bit more, it would afford me a bit more length of pull that I'm sure would fix this but I still haven't found one. Also, I like to use two or three fingers at the lever, now I can't because my little finger gets pinched between the lever and handle grip and robs another quarter inch of lever travel. Suggestions?
I've had this seat with the back rest on my 23 LRS for about 2 weeks. Although the backrest is phenomenal and the reason I got the seat the seat is a little on the firm side. I thought you would mention whether that initial firmness softens somewhat and after how long.
Absolutely. The break in period is quite lengthy and something I should have mentioned. I got the seat lightly used and I still feel like it took at least 1000-2000 miles to break in and still got better the more miles I added. The seat will be very hard for a while but is worth sticking with.
replace the starter.....you will be out somewhere with no hammer and it wont start trust me i know from experience..2007 1200l stood on the side of the road for hours waiting for a rescue
@@Chris-gi9ch 20 year old bike. Previous owner didn’t even know about the cam chest. I found the dealer in town that did the cam chest. They said they only did the SE cam plate and oil pump on the work order but that doesn’t mean the customer didn’t bring his own cam. Had stock exhaust on it so I bet it was a stock cam
