This game is one of my top five all-time games (been playing computer games since 1989), and the sound track is also one of my favourites, it's awesome. Southern Horizons is one of the best four-chord pieces I've heard as well, it's the soundtrack for all my puzzle solving now :) Thank you!
Does anyone feel some songs' mastering are a little bit off? Quite a few feel like they are muffled, like their dynamic range is clipped or something. I'm pretty sure it's not RU-vid compression because I brought lossless on Bandcamp and they sound exactly like this. Meanwhile New Jerusalem by Chris sounds correctly mastered. Other than that. The whole album is beautiful and sublime! Masterfully composed!
As I enjoy exploration and just feeling out the vibe of the game, the music adds so much to the experience. The soundtrack is very very good. I just love it a lot because it does have that deep and profound vibe to it which matches this game to the T. A++ 👌
This game is a life changing experience. When I started playing it, I just felt transfixed on the sounds (those artificial beeps). Each puzzle giving me a sense of accomplishment. As the game continued to branch out, my world expanded as well. Philosophical questions about the meaning of life and our place in this reality. There is something serene about this game, as if playing it reformats your brain and gives you a sense of calm. I listen to this soundtrack now, just enjoying the sounds and the simplicity/complexity of their compositions. Everything that went into this game bore out to become one of the greatest statements. Throughout the simulation, one thing becomes abundantly clear... even in our loneliest moments, there are others out there that have walked these lonely alcoves, these desolate dunes, and in our mutual solitude, we are not truly alone.
Hi Damjan. Your music is very inspiring and although Talos 2 ost was a bit slower to grow on me compared to talos 1, now I've been listening to it 2 months straight - in the car, while working, while walking...you name it. Absolutely love it. Can you please answer if we can expect the couple of tracks from the DLC to be released on your spotify or here, or bandcamp? Again, thank you for this great work of art!
Talos Principle 1's OST was an absolute 10/10 for me. Sadly, I don't think this one is THAT good (or should I say, I don't like it THAT much). But hey, it's still a solid 9/10 for me!
Beautiful soundtrack to one of my favorite games of all time. Thank you for creating this. Just wanted to say, Made Of Words is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. It fits the theme of the game so well - solving puzzles, contemplating philosophical topics such as what it means to be a conscious agent; meanwhile, in the greater context of the game, doing tasks critically important to the continuation and evolution of human consciousness on the planet. Simply incredible... the game and the music is a true gem.
Thank you for the music! It added a hole other dimension to the game, absolutely beautiful. 'Survive' also reminded me of my other favorite games, the Horizon series (Zero Dawn and Forbidden West).
Hi Damjan, just wanted to humbly thank you for all the amazing music you've created. Ever since Serious Sam: The First Encounter I've been following your sweet tunes, and it really shows how genuine and passionate you are when it comes to composing the music tracks. Just... thanks for all you've done and will do in future! PS. Playing Talos Principle 2 Road to Elysium now. It rocks, just like your music!
My dude, you should update your bio/music section on your webpage, you composed unforgettable Talos Principle soundtrack! (apart from masterpiece in this video).
It's so great that I finally found this track. I first heard it a couple years ago when I was watching a video made by Warhammer fans about the Battle of Calth, an event of the Horus Heresy. In the middle of the video, in the midst of bloody, space massacre there is an infernal appearance of Primarch Lorgar Aurelian in front of Robaut Gilliman just to this very track. Awesome
С “The Sigils Of Our Name”, “The Guardians”, “Virgo Serena” не стоит рядом абсолютно.
does anyone know what the second track that plays whilst in New Jerusalem? I'm not talking about the actual NJ track but the one that plays directly after it whilst walking around NJ
