Girly I’m happy I find this video I’m one month starter locs and I had one re twisted already and I didn’t wash my hair after the first installment of my locs and I just washed it and it already had buildup but I never noticed that so now I know to wash my hair once a month for now till my loc completely thank you

I started my locs on 5-19… she told me to come back every month for the first 3 months and then I won’t have to come back for at least a few months unless something happens.. my 2nd retwist is scheduled for 5pm today. I’m kinda annoyed that my hair is STILL unraveling and it’s so dry cause I was told not to put any liquids or allow it to get wet. Idk. I’m trusting the process rn 1:30

I waited 4 weeks to wash my hair. I started with 2 strand twists.And I was still misting my hair in between time. I’m 7 months in. 3 months sounds insane. 😂

If u wash it you just going to have a curly Afro

If u have really curly hair you can’t wash it right away that’s all I have to say

My hair is so curly I washed my locs 3 times and they came out so now I’m just going to wait 3 more months

Everyone hair is different people with 4c hair type can wash their dreads right away

Did it myself and I washed it after 1 week. My hair would itch like crazy otherwise. If anything unraveled I just retwisted it

Our hair produces its own oils naturally so there’s no need to do a hot oil or moisturizer treatment. Washing it with Dawn will wash out the BUILDUP OF the natural oils but the hair will REPRODUCE it in time, naturally.

I like your hair and what you use but when i put the ingredients in my hair and cover with a shower cap or polithen bag it itches alot
