The Hochrhein Musikfestival AG is the operator of several concert formats, such as the Solsberg Festival, founded in 2006 by Sol Gabetta, the Klassik Sterne Rheinfelden and many more. Since 2016/2017, our "HMF Productions" department has produced around 100 concert videos, including videos for the Solsberg Festival, the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, the Tonhalle Gesellschaft Zürich, the Opernhaus Zürich, the Haydn 2032 project as well as for the Basel Composition Competition, just to name a few. I think there’s a big misconception on the origin of the recorder. It may be known to today as the “elementary instrument,” but was quite popular in the baroque era of music. One of those instruments that’s easy to learn, hard to master.

I have often returned to listen to this version of Schubert's second Piano Trio. I think this is an absolutely excellent, unprecedented interpretation of this great work! Well-characterized, nuanced playing that beautifully brings out the subtle nuances and details of the music while preserving Schubert's introverted intuitiveness and sensitivity of his music. Moreover, the huge architecture of the work maintain its linearity throughout. Even among the best recordings of this work, I have found no real point of comparison for this interpretation! Best recommendations for this one and big thanks to the performers!

Verfolge ihn seit 2015 und dem Echo Klassik. Seine Rede erinnere ich bis heute wörtlich: "Es ist für mich und mein Instrument eine große Ehre hier vertreten zu sein..." Und dann dieses legendäre Solo mit Orchester von Vivaldi. Im hr Sendesaal habe ich ihn einst persönlich kennengelernt. Schöne Tonfolgen...
