Hey, I'm Bishi (they/them)! I'm a TX-based LGBT cosplayer that also streams on Twitch! I like to make silly videos, play games, and make people laugh. I'm a big fan of the Yakuza series and love games with engaging stories and cool characters. Thanks for stopping by!
We were talking about eggs at a ramen restaurant called Kyushu Ichibanboshi. In Japan, there is a dish called Tamago Kake Gohan, which is where you put a raw egg on top of rice and mix it with soy sauce and dashi stock, and I often eat it that way too.
We met Taichi in the ending drama. I thought that Kiryu would reunite with people from his past and say goodbye to them, but while I was playing, I wondered if it also meant that we, who have been playing Yakuza up until now, would be saying goodbye to Kiryu properly.
Also, the clothes Bishi wore during the stream looked good on him. His gestures when he was choosing between soba and ramen in the member chat and how he was surprised by Amon's strength but still got into the music were cute. However, it was the first time I'd seen someone choose to throw Namba into the river lol
I don't understand English, so I watch Yakuza videos with subtitles and English translation, and when I see Kiryu's name translated as Kitty, which is also translated as kitten in kanji, I think, "What a strong kitten!"
Great cosplay! It suits you both. Yakuza streamers on Japanese RU-vid don't often show their faces, and there are many VTubers (CG), so this was a refreshing change from the usual
It's hard to choose food to eat while watching the party talk, but it's interesting. All the food is familiar in Japan, but I wondered if there are any foods that are unusual for people from overseas.
Nice to meet you, I'm a Japanese who likes Yakuza. The other day I found your channel and I'm watching the archives of Yakuza that I played in the past. It seems that you haven't finished Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth yet, but it's quite a lot of content, so please enjoy it.
The karaoke cutscene was perfect. Kiryu finally being able to sing Judgement again after all this time. Him showing he can be playful by faking being upset. Nanba being open with the women and saying that looking after Kiryu would have been too much alone. It's a high-point of the game. I'm so happy Kiryu has friends now!
1:34:13 As much as I love the Geomijul's whole spy thing, there is absolutely no way in hell that Seonhee could have known about Nishki being Dojima's real killer. The only person in that room who is still alive is Kiryu and neither Nishki nor Yumi ever mentioned it to anyone.
Kiryu definitely told Yayoi Dojima the truth of what happened to her husband. There's a side story confrontation between the two in Yakuza 1, and during it, Kiryu promises to tell her the full story once things had settled down. Once Yakuza 2 roles around, Kiryu had clearly followed through on that promise, because both Yayoi and Daigo know the truth of who killed Sohei Dojima. Also, I'm sure it would not have looked good for the Dojimas' reputation for them to be seen openly cooperating with Sohei's killer, so it seems likely to me that knowledge of Nishiki being the killer would have disseminated through the Tojo Clan. With that in mind, it's not hard to imagine that Seonhee gained access to this information.
But by the beginning of Yakuza 2 everyone already knew it was Nishiki, Lady Dojima even told Kiryu he had no reason to go to Sotenbori to atone for his sins since they knew Nishiki was the one that capped Dojima.
I'm having a lot of fun with it! I'm definitely taking my time and trying to enjoy all the side content along the way and really enjoying the story so far! I think this will end up being one of my favorites in the series.
I’ve been loving it so far! I think overall it’s better than Y:LAD, at least so far. The substories and mini games are fun, story and setting is interesting, and there’s been a lot of quality of life improvements!
ha! you can't fool me with your reverse psychology! that's not ruuuvo! that's CLEARLY kiryu kazuma as shown in hit video game "like a dragon: infinite wealth"!
Summertime Groove, my Infinite Wealth karaoke kryptonite. I got 90 point something on that song once, and then never again. Giving me flashbacks to Ichizu Samurai in Inshin *Shiver* Oh well, least I got 100 points on Judgment. That's all I care about.
People, not me, consider the FemMc from Portable as not canon. Dispite her appearing in a spinoff game but eh. FemMc's story is Slighty different from MaleMc, with new and some being better then the Original Social Links, so to do FemMC they would need to do her verison of existing social Links then her Route specific Social Links and have story alterations for her route. Then theres the fact that with Persona 3 FES, which came out before Persona 3 Portable, had included a story epilogue to which Portable just didnt have for either MaleMc or the new FemMC. Course we now know the "Answer" is coming as DLC for Reload but that the team just can't, and wont, make FemMC for Reload. So the only way to play FemMc's route is by getting Persona 3 Portable or via modding it into Reload. Then there is also that controversial social link that...yeah we can just completely rewrite it to not be the way it is. Sucks but what that one comment said in your chat is sadly right, better to at least, finally, have a great definitive version of Persona 3, having aspects from FES and Portable, then have the team having to cut corners to fit both MC's Routes.
Such a great playthrough, I loved every episode of this. I did see you go through the Kalevala Knights' garage live, but I missed the rest. I loved watching you go through and figure things out. I've seen LPs of this game but haven't gotten the chance to play it myself because I don't have an updated console or computer, but I am chomping at the bit to play this because it looks like so much fun. Also I could gush about Ilkka Villi (Alan's physical actor and Zane's full actor) a lot and tell you so many facts about how he and Alan's VA Matthew Porretta collaborated and brought Alan to life, how he mentored Sam Lake in his acting, and so much more.
Ahti said: "All you need is water... and Vileda." After getting a Vileda commercial break (cleaning agent) while watching this, had to come back here and comment. Unreal. Sam Lake you hack.
"The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles" (as a whole) is my favorite "Ace Attorney" and also one of my top 10 videogames of all time. The cast, the story, the cases, the mechanics and the music... are flawless. The other day you said that the "chronicles" games are more easy (or rather you had a better time playing the chronicles) than the OG trilogy. I think this is because the quality of life that has been applied to the gameplay makes it feel that way, everything is more polish and clean. For example, you don’t waste time looking for a clue to advance in the story, because (almost) in the 99% of the time you know what to do, you know the real answer, and that is because the crew behind this games learned about the inconsistencies or the little mistakes from the past and they improved on the Ace Attorney formula. I (really) hope you enjoy this masterpiece till the end.
Ryutaro hype!!!!! If we ever get a third GAA game I need more Ryutaro moments >:0 maybe it'll be a drag persona debuting in English pubs or smth kdskdsk either way we need the boi
