THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!! Amazing/Tragic Real Life Story that I'm glad got told. I looked up the backstory to the movie and turns out the director was very meticulous on getting the story as accurate as possible, unlike many other "based on true story" movies. R.I.P BURLSWORTH!!!! INSPIRATION TO ALL

Hard work and dedication. Will beat talent most any day when talent doesn’t work hard . There is lots of work hard kids that will do what ever is asked of them in practice or games for any sport that get looked over every day . Cause of daddy ball . I’ll take a team of try hards and yes sir coach with a smile over 2 teams full of talent Sh** heads that don’t listen an get mad when they play a different position or have to sit out for another kids to get his time .

I don't usually watch movies that involved religion. However, this story was so inspirational and in my 43 years one of the most moving stories that I've ever known of that even made me question my faith or lack of.

“Coach, I’ve played against walk-ons; that is no walk-on.” Brandon is the reason he was no longer a walk-on. He earned his place on that team with his discipline (losing 50+ lbs, getting up every morning at 5:15am, exercising), perseverance through failure when lesser men would have given up, and enthusiastic dedication to learning the proper techniques (“remember your steps”). It’s a good life lesson for all of us.

Growing up from middle school to even now senior in hs everyone kept hating on my work ethic or calling me a try hard every time I felt like I couldn't do it it scream how bad do u want it. Watching this movie n finding this man out motivated me to never giving anything less than 150% in anything I do, especially sports it paid off in the end I earned the respect from one of my old enemies, now my goal and treat is to work on coaching at arkansas where the man myth legend played at
