@@mrbrit6746 this is the name of the ones I get “3L Blu Ray Sleeves - Protective Sleeves For BluRay Storage - Plastic Pocket With Closing Flap & Space for Cover - 50 Pcs - 10283” The company is 3L I believe
I have done this with my 1500 bluray collection. I even sleeved up my tv shows also into seasons. Best decision i ever made. The space i have saved is amazing amd i love how i can display them all in on one wall.
i still don't get going to charity shops, buing stuff for so cheap that it's basically robbing them. but it seems they're doing that to themselves, so it's even more confusing.😆and, as i'm trying to collect my thoughts, i'm already slammed in the cerebellum with christmas movies with dogs. which is also exactly what i'm watching bristolian dave videos for - normal movies are for momma's boys, only the sophisticated can appreciate the thrill that is gazing into the mildly bizarre (with one eye twichting a bit at times). btw. i googled winifred meeks to see if that's some urban legend like the bavarian wolpertinger, but it seems all results are about that film. if you in turn decided to google wolpertinger now, all i can say is "welcome to the party". it takes a lot of spit on the grave to create a puddle that is big enough to house sharks. sorry, it seems i'm a bit of a roll, which means this is a good video and i'm giving it 1 like. again, a hospice was raided, this time for an erotic movie, where the main character probably dies ... wait a minute! one does not simply go down on the lady .... i have "time and tide" and found it a good watch. a crime action buddy comedy that is a bit over the top but entertaining. also has a rasta villain that is oddly funny, because of how out of place he feels. cheers!
You should be buying Christmas movies with dogs 😜 Charities are weird over here. Some are super cheap. Some are expensive. I’m working on a video about them
Nice finds dave i picked up a film called cops and robbers on dvd have you heard of that bought a box set of starflett a bit like thunderbirds with puppets 😅😅😅😅
Nick Broomfield is a documentary filmmaker. He's probably best known for his film 'Tupac & Biggie'. 'Breaking The Waves' is a Lars Von Triers film. he's Danish. Fellow Bristolian here 'Edge of Darkness' is a classic series. The director (who also made 'Casino Royale') also adapted the series into a film of the same name with Mel Gibson in the lead role. It's good, but, in my opinion, not a patch on the series.
It’s never too early for Christmas Dave 🎅🏻 There are ten seasons of The Blacklist but only four seasons made it to blu-ray, nice one mate, take care👍😃👍
Hi BD, Had to let you know l visited Car Boot sale in West London. Dvds everywhere but not more than twenty blu-rays. I did buy a sealed blu-ray box set of lron Man 1&2 = £2.00p. Plus l picked up Two Spiderman 30cm figures (£4.00p) each. But the item that made trip worth while was R2D2 (clock & sound effects) figure, £10.00p. Put batteries in & worked perfectly, so happy. I'm old enough to have seen Star Wars lV, first time round in 1977. Off to Cex next Friday & Charity shops, as l need a PROPER blu-ray fix / finds. Looking forward to your next DVD & blu-ray ' pick - ups ' video BD. Sooner rather than later !!! Kind regards, Movie Mad Marcus 🎬💿👍.
Hi Dave, Capricorn one was a great find, fuel for conspiracy theorists 🤔 The Last Full Measure was a very good watch 👌 Silent Witness is a solid show…I guess that’s why they made so many season 🤣Color Out Of Space is very weird….but then it’s a Nic Cage movie so very much expected 😁 wow My Neighbour Totoro and The Burbs for 50p a piece 😮 awesome definitely the bargain of the week, take care mate👍😃👍
it doesn't matter how much charity shops sell goods for as its going to a cause anyway I've recently bought Bob Marleys film One Love and Dune 2 both on Dvd might go to 2 Charity shops this week coming
@@BristolianDave I received a parcel yesterday with the films Pearl (X Storyline) Comedy No Hard Feelings Without Remorse Action Magic Mike's Last Dance to complete the trilogy and Crime Murder Storyline Amsterdam with its big cast
I think you'll like Capricorn One. It's a great conspiracy thriller with James Brolin and Sam Waterston. I picked up Navy Seals, Behind Enemy Lines and Flatliners in the BHF for a quid. I think I struck lucky with all three. But you got some steals there, mate. Nice one.
I will decide what is a good price at a charity shop. If it’s a little bit over, then I just think it’s for charity/a good course. But some charity shops are over pricing items, which I’ll just leave on the shelf.
Which is the right way to do it in my opinion. I just see too many people complaining when they have to pay more than 10p for anything in a charity shop 😂
You know me, I regularly visit Scope and buy as much classical, new age, or house music for my studio playlists. As for pricing, it's a buyer's call at the end of the day, but I don't think a charity shop's going to break the bank. Good finds on anime as well. I hear X is meant to be a treat. 👍
Some great pickups! British Heart Foundation are by far the most expensive with their ridiculous pricing. I enjoyed Teen Wolf so give it a watch and look forward to your next video!
❤Silent Witness #24. Good luck finding that series BD. Arrow films: The Burbs, Awesome. Never seen Arrow film @ £0.50p before. Your diligence in visiting Charity shops pays off. I picked up Resident Evil (1) myself on blu-ray for £1.00p from MIND Charity shop, S/W London. I am also off to a Large Car Boot in sale in West London on 02/06/24, my first time.... so excited to see what blu-ray films maybe on offer ? I don't buy dvds any more as l have devoted My focus onto blu-rays, just My preference you understand, 800+ and counting since Xmas 2017 !! Best Wishes and Kind regards BD, Movie Mad Marcus 🎬💿👍.
Thanks for the ' Good Luck ' at Car Boot sale, mention. My excitement from yes'day is growing (as weather forecast looks good). If you yourself BD are planning Charity shop visitations, then l am channeling positive vibes so that 1 or 2 'Great Finds' will be coming your way. Kind regards, Movie Mad Marcus 🎬💿👍.
Ive got a bad habit with charity i do pick up loads of dvds but blu rays i dont find many but when i do and theyre cheap i will buy them no matter what the film is as you never know if youll see them cheap again lol
@@BristolianDave something the lord made isn't brilliant but it was worth a watch deals with racism and politics in hospitals and how they helped develop heart surgery on babies.
Dear BD, I'm a 64 yrs old Film Fan, who saw his first film " The Sound of Music " in 1965. And I've been a Cinematic fan ever since. I have just subscribed to ur movie channel and l know that over the next year l will NOT Only be entertained by you but also WILL have learned blu-ray information also. Which l will Thank you for in advance. Keep up the Great presenting BD. Kind regards, Movie Mad Marcus 🎬👍 .
Glad you’re feeling better Dave and cool that you were recognised by a viewer 👌 I’m the same with the Horror genre Dave, it’s not my favourite but I do dabble from time to time. 😬 take care mate👍😃👍
