I saw in another video where they were pouring the plaster slower, and little at a time. I was thinking they should do it faster, but now I see it’s important to release more bubbles and let it get in all the small crevices.
No, sanitizing wipes were removed from the shelves and replaced with non alcohol wipes, I witnessed it. I’ve been purchasing alcohol wipes for some years to clean my hands and/or polymer clay. During pandemic I went to purchase another stack since I was getting low and that’s when I noticed they had emptied out the shelves, on my next trip shelves were filled, however, wipes no longer had alcohol on them. When I went to the RESTORE they had individual size pks so I purchased them. Making my own wipes.
I am missing a fingernail too exact like yours lol I thought maybe put press one. But I loved how it got all my grandmas wrinkled fingers in detail ❤but I really wanna make a copy
I forgot the lightweight cloth mask that I usually wear inside in our office building where the windows do not open. But I did not want to destroy a sock. So I pushed one large paperclip through each end of a sock and then linked the paperclips together behind my head. I suppose if one has a larger head addition paperclips can be added to make a chain that is tight enough to keep the mask in place. It is not perfect, but it can work for a short term emergency when you find yourself without a mask. The plastic coated paperclips are preferable since the plastic prevents the cold metal from being in contact with your skin. Thank you for getting me thinking, Crafty Caboodle! Best wishes.
I'm confused why do some put the dyed pieces in a plastic bag and you're doing it the other way around by leaving it in the sun. I love your pastel outcome though. Maybe you get different effects with both the procedures. ❤
Finished 6 castings of my mothers hands. Used a water/Elmer’s glue mixture 1st then painted with acrylic paint. Waiting for them to dry completely before I paint them with a sealer. How long should I wait? Weeks? I also want to label each on the bottom with her name and date. Not sure what kind of pen to use that won’t smear when I paint the sealer over it. They are actually for myself & all my siblings. Our mother is almost 90 & fighting cancer again so we did these before she got bad. Do you have any recommendations for which pen to use? Thanks!
