My 4h great Poua Richard Dicky Barratt frst wife Wakaiwa was of Te Atiawa no Taranaki and set up and resided the Port Underwood whaling station for some time bck in the day too. And my line come of Poua Dickys second marriage Hinehou (of Kai Tahu decent) and on his best and loyal friend John agar Loves death bed, they both whangai one of his Children and I believe raised this child amongst our Kai Tahu people. Of what name this child was isn’t known to me. But none the less we have a great connect n shared history here also with our Te Atiawa whanau, whanui ne.

has anyone thought of floating plant beds to clean the water? in aquaculture they use {edible}plants to clean the water in some systems. the kratky method might be applicable here to clean the water and also supply the people with fresh organic veges?
