NYVarsity sports started as a sports handle, with a large concentration on beach volleyball and indoor volleyball. It has since evolved, consisting of three major pillars:
1. Taping and live-streaming sports, predominantly beach volleyball
2. Media, debate and podcasting coverage of sports week-to-week
3. The "Option" podcast, which has grown into its own entity, where the host, guests and listeners constantly provoke thought and repose 'the question' on hot button topics and using Sports, current events, wellness and entertainment.
The podcast guests of the latter two remains predominantly sports-heavy (with volleyball being our wheelhouse), but discussing mental and physical health, social issues, and recent topics using humor, critical thinking and first takes has become the foundation of the podcasts mission.
@@chantillystreet7239 his unassuming nature makes you root for him, doesn’t it?? Though I am also pulling for Cherif who I met from mutual friends. He also came on the podcast. But I’m a USA guy.
Thanks for everything Jason! In case anyone is wondering about my labs, these were taken in April 2024, I’m 45 years old: Total chol 242 TG 65 HDL 114 VLDL 11 LDL 117 Hgb A1C 5.0
The praise, respect and love I have for Nuss and Kloth is something I have a hard time hiding. I pride myself on being a purist, and yet, I am a huge fan.
Always fun to see the Taylors. Burki and Wilcox played great. It felt like late in the 2nd set the Taylors were waiting for them to error or give a free ball; and for the most part they didn't give them that.
Hermos Beach. I wish I could stay and watch the finals which is happening now as we speak but I'm hopping on a plane. The finals is lev and adam vs Cody and Lila.
Agreed. Terrible. Mike volume, chatty - the whole nine. Trying new equipment. And trying to get my practice on. Didn’t do a legit match in about 6 Months.
You clearly have the beat on who’s who. You’re the only one even watching this match knowing full well Devon and Ryan are potentially pushing all the way thru and Dylan and Lev are no easy team to beat
Auto enable vs APF lock. Easy to forget when you’re watching the game and not the screen. Since you know a little something about this, I would love to know how to fix the light manipulation when the screen is locked?
When you say light manipulation do you mean when the exposure changes such as when clouds cover the court or when the image is too dark or light? AF lock will also lock exposure (iPhone and iPad). Once you lock exposure by pushing and holding on the screen you can make the image brighter or darker by pushing up or down on the screen. You’ll see a tiny sun icon near the focus box showing that this is possible. Unfortunately once you do this you’ll have to pay attention to the phone more to make sure the exposure is right. IMO it’s better than seeing the focus hunting throughout the whole game.
@@piksnapper This is useful, my man. I mean most of this is just to hang out and talk esh with my friends but in a professional setting where they might ask for my input (like motherlode) I love just knowing. You’d be surprised at how useful it is with forming relationships. Or not, maybe you figured that out too, hahahaha.
If I had a dollar for every time ive come back and watched this match all the way through, Id be able to fund my life as an amateur beach volleyball player. lol!😅
