I'm Australian, this is definitely Australian Wagyu. They are 100% genetically Wagyu cows however they're raised in Australia and have been for decades. The unique environment here yields different looking beef to the Wagyu cows that are raised in Japan

I never understood why anyone ever liked fine dining. I've always enjoyed 3-3.5 tops and found many of the most interesting people in the world for some reason enjoy absolute dives. I dont get that either I like high class people with middle class taste usually and you guys dont seem to be the bad example I'm usually turned off by in high class places. The unnecessarily expensive meals are another issue. My problem other than that is the guest who is more focused on other guests than their meal and who they are with. To get an idea of what I mean think kevin bacon in animal house when he first sees flounder. The only high class places that I enjoy are fish places or sushi specifically.
Afterword, we stepped outside and right onto a steaming pile of human shit. My boyfriend got run over by someone stealing something from the convenience store.
Went there today. -Blue Bottle Coffee: had the “NOLA” which was watery and had an unpleasant aftertaste. Their coffee is overrated. -El Porteno: terrific mushroom “Champinones” empanada for $6.50, and piping hot!
