When I created Modern Horror Gaming, I wanted to recreate the feeling I had as a kid in the early 90s, stumbling behind my Mom into the local "mom and pop" video store where I could rent genesis games from the bargain bin. I would be left alone where I would naturally go to the horror section, to stare at the massive wall of slimy ghouls and practical effects that dominated the 80s and 90s. With that as I grew into an adult, I am now a horror die hard. I want you to get that same feeling of looking through these videos with a sense of exploration and fright. These talented and creative developers are constantly finding new ways to scare and bring the fear out of our inner being. Explore these videos, and enjoy a modern take on horror.

Dude it was a really good survival horror, I'm 99% sure the rooftop scene was a callback to cry of fear, the devs previous game chasing static was criminally underrated
I really liked the final story, I'm pretty sure that's the one where they are making it into a full game soon, it reminded me of papers please but with infected 😆
I do appreciate the mention, but I believe this is the newer similarly named QDOOM by someone much younger than me. The QDOOM I did was back in 1999/2001 and used crappy sprites for things in game, this looks like real 3d models. This is still just the demo, right? I wonder what the full game will consist of... The demo has us in the shoes of a decent number of people of all kinds and places, so will the full game have us play as all of them? Or perhaps just one?

Love this demo this one remembers me to Demonophobia/ Xenomorphobia but in 3D and vtw the maker of those games is noe making a new one in3d and in Third Person xD!

i was like a minute in when i was like wait a minute, this is Dead By Daylight - Until Dawn! then i looked and yup, it indeed is! lol i loved the first Until Dawn but i didnt keep up with the series, i feel like everytime there is a good idea they make a 100 identical games and I feel like SuperMassive went that route lol this seems pretty cool though I might play this one
I am not going to lie, I almost quit this campaign multiple times. This is only on normal and it might be one of the hardest campaigns I have played. It doesnt look too crazy , but the monster placement and traps make it super difficult, its really good tho! But yeah might be one of the hardest I have done in recent years for quake custom maps, zigi and newhouse are on another level
The book part is insane! What an interesting twist in a horror game So sad that good chinese games that make the best out of their culture are so rare, they have a very specific vibe that really unsettles me
the book part seriously like changes my whole feeling towards the game, it was so cool and unique, I wish more people got to see it, being taken off of steam is a damn shame
This game has quite a funny story involving an indie horror game, winnie the pooh, and the chinese communist party. Long story short the game was removed from steam shortly after release never to return. This is a story I want to come back too..
Holy crap, some stills from this game look just like old photographs. It's amazing how analog effects keep evolving and reinventing themselves as the "PSX vibe" and "Hyperrealistic found footage" styles diverge
Might wanna disable your screenshot hotkey sounds but good stuff. Wish you much success, the no commentary market is rough but it's the only way I like seeing games 95% of the time. Keep at it.
