What happens when the customer sits or leans on that sink rail to wash the window or change the light bulb ??…. Snap …you need a 100% support on that rail buddy
Natural stone is natural lol it has imperfections they all do … what’s going to happen when they get olive oil or butter on it lol customers need to be aware of the fact that it will not hold up to scratches or stains
Or just scribe and a notch and Mak sure you have the correct measurements for the slid in or cook top I always removed the stove or cook top to insure the core fit not to damage their appliances
I replied to this dumb a$$ comment and and had to come back because I was just thinking how much this machine makes my job easier. And I don’t have to bend down to the ground to pick a 300lb peace of rock up
@virtualwrestling4352 Hard to just lift and set when th L is 65 inch and the ceiling is 60 inch. That's not even considering the cabinets and ceiling fan. I do understand that everyone on RU-vid is an expert. The truth however is everyone who has taken a top in a house isn't a installer. There are a lot of mules out there that carry tops in and set, very few installers that use their brain! Have a blessed night.
3 installs is ROUGH! Some light joking for ya... You're assuming your guys can handle that responsibility and coordination haha. Not to mention someone's gonna walk off with one, or knock it on the ground. You know how these guys are lol, it's not their money! Good system, be fun to watch them try it. Have a good weekend!
@harrod19 yea wishfull thinking, it is amazingto me how carless ppl are when it isnt their money. The installs were small. Wouldn't have been bad if cabinets weren't crappy. I hope you have a great weekend also brother!

@maximusmeridius6610 I need to watch video to see which one I'm carrying. My main one is the gerber ghost strike. Got it online but it's discontinued now. I seen a few on ebay for outrageous prices. I have several more, a couple of them are tops, which u can find online. You can google scout carry knifes if your interested. I have carried one for several years now.
Why not on granite too? Seems much faster than cutting your little cross cuts and shaping the corner? Even with a blow out I'd think it'd still be faster to patch it than do multiple little grinder cuts and then shape.
Lol, it depends. Usually try to transfer them directly to fab cart but sometimes have to transfer to drywall cart then to fab cart. It is a pain in butt sometimes!
Install it yourself? Is it undermount or drop in? I ask because it it on the edge of undermount or just on the flat surface of countertop. If on flat surface I would try razor blade for any that you can feel and for the residue that you get with silicone on honed stone I would recommend denatured alcohol with a steel wool. Can also use acetone with steel wool. Tenex also make a product for cleaning stone. It was called extra clean pro in a black can but they recently changed the can and the name, the can is now blue and white and I think they are calling it stain rescue remover. This stuff is a miracle worker. Wherever you use these products it will remove any sealer from that area if there is a sealer on it. You will need to reapply sealer after process. I hope this helps. Trust me it's not the end of the world as my guys can't seem to silicone a sink without getting it everywhere!! Lol
@danthegraniteman4702 idk what's up with the black bars. I 100% agree with you they suck!! For the past year I have recorded everything with my phone and my shorts don't come out this way. I pay someone to edit my videos so I will see what's up.
Lol, I'm quite attached to that fluffy cat. Unfortunately she won't get along with any of my pets at home. She is so excited everything I walk through the door!
Great job on correcting the issue withe pattern. Your seam is perfect and unnoticeable. I have a problem now, similar where the seam at the back of the counter top is okay then half way down it’s very noticeable. Also right where the seam is it is rubbing on the drawer. The installers took a grinder to the bottom of this to try and fix it. No dice, after several attempts it kept chaffing on the drawer. Their do solution was for one guy to pick up the end of the counter and put a couple of slivers of wood ( not shims) where the dishwasher goes in so it would not rub on the drawer. Kind of a Mickey Mouse fix and those slivers of wood will break down over time and I’ll be left with the problem. Also the pattern is completely off. A piece at the other end of the kitchen which was the same exact size would have matched perfectly. So I’m sure the installer picking up on the end of the countertop to put those splinters of wood in did not help the look of the seam. The kitchen cabinet company and countertop company should get a prize for the tap dance they are doing to try to get out of repairing this correctly. However this old dog wants it done correctly. Communications have been sporadic at best. The BBB compliant got their attention along withe fact I’ll be playing golf in the same tournament as kitchen cabinet owner who I know values his reputation in the city. Either way it will fixed or I’ll be taking them to court. I tried my darned best to avoid a poor quality kitchen Reno, but the best intentions never go unpunished.
If you like, you can email me some pics of the seam. I would be glad to take a look and give you my advice/opinion. It's very hard to diagnose without visually seeing the issues. You can go to countertop Kings.com I'm sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there doing this work that shouldn't be. Have a blessed day
Ouch!, nice repair though! Where you used the timber to level up we used to use a strip of stone face down to level up Could of maybe pinned that but your joins are pretty good anyway
I had to use something thin so I could still work on area. The stone defenatly would work but my luck I would glue it to what I'm fixing and make it worse.
just look at the light reflection from the beginning of the film and from the end. it didn't come out too well. what you are doing is unthinkable in europe
