Nice bike . I have the same bike same year same model only it's Orange with white stock factory color. I😅 like the color of your bike. The owner before me put a Corbin seat on. Mine is in the shop getting a ignition module replaced. It started quiting on me when engine got hot running temp. Would start only after engine cooled some. Like 30 40 minutes. Hope this fixes the problem. Mine has HD exhaust . Previous owner removed the baffles. It's a tad too loud for myself. My neighbors don't like it very much. A friend said those pipes are called neighbor haters. And another friend calls my bike The cream cycle cause of the color orange n white colors I said it will be the dream cycle when I'm done customizing it. Lol but I'm thinking of leaving it all stock. Same thing happened to me, engine got so hot that it melted the battery. This was after having engine bored out and new pistons. Also replaced the ignition. So many problems after playing with the original setup of the evolution motor. The guy who did the metal work on engine recommended that I leave it original configuration from the beginning.
There is nothing else like a Wide Glide. They are like a voluptuous woman once you have one no other bike will satisfy you. I currently have a 2012 103 Stage I, metallic red with flames. Dyna Wide Glide forever! At 6'4" and 245 none of the current HD line-up fits me or feels as good. She makes me feel all tingly inside lol.
Absolutely Beautiful bike. She sounds good.i have a 2003 dyna wide glide anniversary bike. Ape hangers and forward control's make me in love with the Dyna. Ride safe and stay Healthy.
I just hit a pigeon today with my semi truck at 70 mph and now he is in dented in my grill. Are there any health side effects from breathing in AC with a dead pigeon glued to your semi truck grill?
Do U still have this bike ? Last of the Evo's..... and is that the actual milage ? 64,126 . I have a '97 WG with 25,000 and in my opinion they are better looking than than newer style. And even my motorcycle hating neighbors tell me it sounds good going by. FACT
I got a 98 Wide Glide 21000 miles .I only changed the original battery one year ago.Still on original brake pads .Changed the tyres at 18000 .Beaut Bike .( I am 78 lol )
No effect, although I did not dyno..of course feels more powerful but that's probably my imagination. If I had to do it over, I would leave these pipes alone and get emgo reverse cones or dime city.. I got emgo and they sound so much better than this drilled out shit. Emgo and dime city are low cost.
jason k if you that then its good, I don't like the shape of the cones, i prefer something like trask or renegade from V&H, but they are too expensive, so i prefer to drill the stock till i find a good deal, side note i changed the air intake to performance one
It's definitely louder but metallic/ tin sound. I wasn't happy with the sound and needed more deep bass, so I went with emgo reverse megaphone shortys. Much better! I should have just gone with slip-ons to begin with. I had Victory Stage 1 on a 2008 Vegas...I can't believe the price of those plus they still sound like stock! Stage 1 should sound a lot better, just a waste of money.
