Slovakian violinist Vladimir Jablokov was born into a family of classical musicians. He began his formal classical-violin training at the age of six. All six siblings (Vladimir is third) grew up playing music. At the age of 18, Vladimir was due to start training at The Academy of Performing Arts, but years of regimented instrumental studies left him craving a break from classical music. He packed his bags and left for Ireland in pursuit of adventure. Two weeks into his adventure he ran out of money so he started busking on Dublin’s Grafton Street.
Since then Vladimir headlined sold-out performances in the National Concert Hall, INEC, UCH, Cork Opera House, National Opera House and more. In December 2022 he headlined a sold-out show at Dublin's 3Arena.
The Sunday Business Post recently described him as: "Vladimir Jablokov is now one of the most successful and individualist musicians in the business".
I really wish I could travel abroad and see your perfomance life. Hopefully I can enjoy it later through the internet, though that's like comparing driving a ferrari to looking at a picture of one, they just can't compare.
