Ok for the explanation of the topic but the video part of the tutorial is completely out of focus. You can't see the parameters or even the buttons you press.
Photos cant be colored in this version of Ezcad if im not mistaken. If you mean black and white grey scale. Im not sure how to do it I only use vector images when I laser.
about the best video on ezcad work. thank you!.... one problem I keep running into is that after I import my vector file, I Had a few lines that were missing. So I draw in the straight line and when I go to connect the nodes, it wont let me select both nodes and then unite them. Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong? Yes, I'm holding shift. when I select one, it deselects the other. How do I add in lines and then unite the nodes? if you need more clarification, I would be happy to provide.
What file type are you importing? Try different file types and see if they all have some disappearing lines before you try adding lines. Some EZ cad read certain file types weird. To fix your Node problem select the whole image including your line and hit "Group" up in the top left corner. Then you should be able to connect nodes.

Excellent! Please more videos like this. I just got my fiber laser last week and am trying to learn. I know all lasers are different but i’d like to know what settings you’re using and why like you did here. Was the second pass the same settings as the first except for the power change? Thank you. Yo! How long did it take you to dial that in? I have a 30W fiber and get nervous just thinking about the many ways I could botch it up with all those setting options.
Bit of a process. I'm planing on making it a future video. But basically using the outline of an image and displaying the out line with the laser as u center it.
