Hello sir! I am so happy I found you! Can you please tell me what happened? Did you sue the owner? Did you sing the waiver? What happened after? I have a sidebet with my buddy about you singing waiver or getting $ for what happend. So I just wanted to know if it is not a secret. Thanks alot if you answer. And thanks even if you dont=)
Raced karts for years and did the FWT the fact that karts are allowed to be this fast in an indoor setting, and your not wearing racing gloves is baffling, do they give you a modern neck protector ( the new ones are similiar to a HANS device ) or a rib protector that goes over the shoulders ?
How often does this happen? Another viral video has one guy lose half of his index finger, in almost the same way, where the kart in front of him slides over the top of the steering wheel, they need to put some kind of steering wheel guard or shield so that can't happen, hope you recovered quickly, cheers!
Yeah that’s the video I was looking for that shit was gnarly. I barely have any experience go karting but I feel like there should be a bar or rail in the front of the kart that stops another one from falling like that.
There are industrial gloves for miners and oilfield workers that are crush resistant and cut proof. SOMEONE in the Motorsports industry needs to make a pair of gloves like this specifically for karting. This happens too often specifically in karting!!!
@@FartInhalerSlamPoetryyeah if anything they would just end up with a flat part of their finger or just have their finger get cut off while still in the gloves lol
@@FartInhalerSlamPoetry Stumbled on this by luck, yes absolutely, no gloves are truly crush resistant, that's why when you run a breaker, they don't even want you wearing gloves. The pressure is so high the gloves won't do anything, but they do run the risk of getting snagged on shit and getting turned in.
I look down and see the steering wheel, i notice you moving your hands around the steering wheel. You know you gotta keep your hands at 9 and 3, is it just your Gloves or is it the grip?
Hey, Great video, the crash looked bad, I was wondering if I could use this clip in my next video, going to make a TeamSport crash & fail video, here is a link to one I’ve made already so you have an idea: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LBDaoVo-Yik.html
Nice vid. I'm surprised you like Teamsport as much as you do. I been to a couple venues and had a bad experience to be honest. I agree about the danger part of karting though. Last Saturday at Tamworth someone spun out into T3 and I ended up on the grass trying to avoid it. And not gonna lie even though it doesn't bother me. Driving a DMAX kart and sailing towards the barrier at such speed is pretty unnerving. Even despite the little time until I hit it, there was still enough time to think "Oh for fuck sake." Lol.
Shadsy The Hedgehog I think the same can be said about a lot of venues. A bad experience can certainly effect the reputation. And again it works the other way. A good race and you fall in love with the venue. In regards to the sport, I can’t think of any racing driver who hasn’t ever crashed. It’s an element of the sport.
@@hubzkarting Yeah crashing just happens unfortunately. I been to Teamsport Warrington and I have never actually got to grips with the circuit. And the first time I went I was black flagged for the other drivers mistake, just because he was a regular and I wasn't
The amount of times people have tried pulling moves off on me like that is ridiculous. I swear some 12 year olds can driver better than these amateur adults. Hope u feel better soon buddy
Ohhh God. I'm sorry to see that happen mate😞 noobs truly do make the sport dangerous when they pull moves they aren't sure about. Don't worry though, it's all part of the learning experience. Just take some time off to rest and ease back into it with some outdoor karting
Ah yes. Remember you speaking of it the other day. So much unpredictability in karting. Strange how I've never been seriously hurt over all the years of doing it. Some good racing in the video though regardless. Don't think I've ever been there before. Then again I've never been a fan of Teamsport
@@hubzkarting Yeah. I thought it must have been pretty bad considering you immediately got out the kart. And thanks. I'm pretty used to Tamworth and a lot of top guys are entering so it should be good racing
