Hi I am a U.S. Army Veteran I am a car fanatic mostly American muscle cars I currently have a 05 GTO, 15 Chevy SS, 17 Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition and a 91 Z28 Camaro. My channel is about my cars and my love for the Rc car hobby actually anything rc I love planes, boats, cars, trucks.
It did for a little bit I have a follow up video coming thank you people come from all over to see the beaches here definitely makes for a good back ground
I've got 20 Redcats. That thing costs 460 dollars with one battery and a charger. 575 with two batteries. Don't confuse it with being a 300 dollar deal of some sort. Those front tires aren't even close to being aligned. And if you look at the chassis from underneath, the front tongue is going to snap off just like the Volcano does. Very weak design that's over 13 years old. You can see where it's going to break right behind the front swing arms. One time you'll hit something head on and snap that piece in half. With the Volcano you have to buy a full metal chassis for it, to stop it. I expect the same will be true with the Valkyrie because it's the same exact design. And being 4s, she's got to be pretty heavy. I'm very surprised not to see a metal crash plate on the bottom front of this thing. Much cheaper RC's have them. And plastic CV axles? They didn't work too good in the Ground Pounder for final drive, drive axles. In fact, they were the first thing that broke. I'm sorry, I'll take my less than half price X07 with a gyro anyday.
if they are such crap why do you have 20 of them? Its ridiculous to add the battery price you are acting like a battery and charger is needed for each car thats not true. Hate to tell you bigger cars like the 6s maxx slash have plastic axles so does the 4s Arrma line up the Rustler so you have no argument there same with metal needed nobody has broke this chassis. stick with your xo7 whatever and 20 redcats you hate 🤣🤣🤣🤣
New sub here! And thank you for your service. I wish our gov did more ya'll. That battery tray Tyson makes is awesome! I have it my older Shogun V2 build. Great video, too bad that arm broke on you.
Thank you very much for the support. Yeah it sucks but it happens I already have it fixed. Tyson makes really great products this really helps because the factory stuff was just really weak this is a must have improvement.
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife We have many friends that live in Nashville. They all checked in and said the worst of it was near the cumberland river near the grand ol opery.
I liked the Mojave so much I now have 4. Two highly modified, and two stock. More friends ask to drive my Mojave more than any of my other RC cars no matter the scale. Truly hope you get as much fun from yours as I do mine.
I installed these Sumo Springs and New Shocks and it made a world of difference in the handling I dont think you need to worry about the anti sway bars most of the weakness is in the front end here are the shocks amzn.to/4eIQxai
Hmmm, looked often to that truck. Every time i see it i think, it's good. Having also max10 in order but the 140 with 3665/4000. Seeing this run quite sure should have chosen other/lighter set...😂 This was running good!
Cheap body cheap controller but that money's goes into the actual chassis. Let's be honest. Most of us use our own controller anyways. Body gets replaced at one point or another. Deff quality chassis.
Do what I did to my xrt, I put xmaxx upper, lower arms, drive shafts, and steer linkage, awesome setup, I have xmaxx love the stance and width that's why I did that to my xrt
@roadstar499 you know whats easy click on my channel and see what videos I have do you seriously think I dont know how to tune a shock? What was the point of this comment? I literally have videos on tuning shocks why dont you look 11k subs you think I have 1 video and I dont know how to work on a rc nothing on a rc is hard youtube it
Nice I was tied up between them 2 when I got mine I went with the xmaxx cause of the clearance and I wanted a monster truck but ya pretty sweet truck I did have problems with the batteries I got not fitting but I just printed new pieces to raise my trays taller and I found my brakes crazy strong on mine anyhow but gonna get that Bluetooth device to sort that out other then that great truck still wanna get the xrt .....
Those EXPs are demented little buggers, they're rapid on 2 & 3S, but on 4S they're CRAZY.!! (I run 3S 99% of the time but it's nice to know it can run 4S if I want to) 😉 I've had 72 mph out of mine on 4S & it looked like it would happily give more.!! 👍 👍 They just grip & go, they can really be thrown around without losing control, they're very stable & it just seems to always pull itself out of trouble instead of spinning out. They're really tunable too.! I've had mine for around 18 months, I've used it a lot, it's still 99% original (I snapped the rear belt due to a pebble getting in) & I'm as impressed today as I was the first time I ran it.! I've got a Hobbywing WP-SC8, 4S ESC paired with a Rocket 4200kv motor in it. It rains a LOT in Scotland where I live so I usually run rally block tyres on it, they grip really well on tarmac.! Subbed & liked & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
@alantaylor353 thank you for the info its a great rc it does feel amazingly stable like you said even on 3s it acted like it could take more I appreciate the support thank you for subscribing
If I had the money, I would buy the srt. But I have a corally Kronos, a Losi 8ight and a traxxas bandit. Expecially the Losi and Kronos are a blast the Kronos is very fast.
Your friend really did appreciate this buddy to be fair wink wink 😉 lol . For me I have a feeling the xmaxx will be better for said friend . As said friend has some very rough areas were he likes to rip his trucks along in dusty and uneven areas so the extra ground clearance might be a good idea . Although some belted sledgehammers on the xrt would give the best of both worlds 🤙🤘🚀👍 Keep Up the awesome work Larry I’ll let said person know about this video lol 😂 Speak soon buddy Chris 🤙🤘🚀👍🤩😎🛞🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸
Nice comparison. Both are awesome! He does like “land bashers” as he calls them and isn’t one for massive air so you’d think XRT but the XMaxx with all that roll and monster truck sway and insanity is awesome fun and the Number 1 RC in the world for a reason. I’d buy another Xmaxx before I bought an XRT. 🏴 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
What he said ☝️👆☝️👆☝️👆 Said friend is most definitely thinking the xmaxx would be a better purchase for the rough areas he runs at lol 😂 Stay awesome 🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸🤘🤙
Get yourself some 1/10 foam wheels, they perform much better. When you stick the decals on to avoid air bubbles trapped, mix a tiny amount of dish soap with water. Then wet the area the decal is going on, then apply the decal. You will be able if necessary to slide the decal around if its not quite in the correct place, you can then squeegy any air bubbles out with a plastic credit card or flat piece of plastic. Then just dry the decal with paper towel & leave to dry, you will end up with no air bubbles & nice flat decals. Once dried out the decal is stuck for good.
