2006 Audi A3 2.0 TDI Sportback After fitting this did a new code come up for anyone. 08196 intake manifold intake runner stuck open. I have this code on my car now
Hi, sorry to hear you have this code. Did you double check the function on the arm to ensure it is moving properly within the closed point and where the bracket stops the over rotation?
Used this kit and 3 days later the death wobble was again there. Followed all their instructions to the letter. I'm guessing I will have to replace those parts more often during the lifespan of my Jimny. Kit and parts are perfect and of high quality, but at the end it didn't fix it.
Hi there, I'm really sorry that has happened. We've not encountered someone who has the death wobble after fitting our parts. It's great that you understand the quality of the parts we provide. If you could please send us some more information via email to sales@x8r.co.uk we will look into this as a matter of urgency. - Georgina, X8R Ltd
Also, if you haven't already please check this extremely informative link: www.bigjimny.com/mediawiki/index.php/Death_Wobble There might be some information in the article that may help you further diagnose the wobble. - Georgina, X8R Ltd
Tried everything BigJimny suggested as well, with the spacers. Had the same result. It was fine for 3 days, then the death wobble started again. The car has only 40.000 Km, drives only on the road (no offroading), and has it's 2nd kit on it. (Makes 3 sets total, considering the original one from factory)
We do not sell the clutch pedal itself. If your clutch has snapped send us a photo to sales@x8r.co.uk and we will be able to see if our repair kit will fix the issue without having to buy a whole new pedal. - Georgina, X8R Ltd

@X8RLtdUK after me doing a little more digging into the issues my car has it turns out I over estimated it and they are as simple as putting lego blocks together 🤣..your right :)
Hi, we have not tested it on an Adam so not sure. You are welcome to purchase and if it does not fit you can return for a full refund (if in a resellable condition). - Georgina, X8R Ltd
@@whiterat1977 It may have the same gearbox and engine but does not necessarily mean it has the same pedal box. I will do some investigating! - Georgina, X8R Ltd

I found an interesting article which explains swirl flap removal in-depth, with negatives being listed at the bottom, which you can see there are few: www.yorkshiredpfcentre.com/swirl-flap-removal#:~:text=The%20process%20for%20removing%20the,the%20flaps%20left%20in%20place.
Hi, we are only aware of this being a part suitable for the 2.0L models. Please send us an email with your UK reg or VIN to sales@x8r.co.uk and we will find out if our kit is compatible. - Georgina, X8R Ltd
Just did mine and followed these exact instructions but my boot lid handle is not flush like before, there's a 1mm gap from the middle and I'm worried the electrics might get damaged with the rain 😢
Good video, thanks!! ❤ Is there a way to make the pulling of the mountain top tonneau cover slacker or tighter. Ours is very tight to pull and push after unlocking it. I know we could lubricste it, but I wonder if there is an adjustable mechanism? Vehicle is a UK 2017 Nissan Navara. Thanks.
We removed our flange screw with an angle grinder as the screw kept spinning and wouldnt come out. Pliars wouldn't do it. The angle grinder did the job to cut the screw in half in order to remove it. Hope that helps.
Hi, our phone line is open and not always engaged so not sure what is happening there. We have tried to call you back three times but no response. Please can you email us on sales@x8r.co.uk with your full enquiry and we will do our best to help. Kind regards, Georgina, X8R Ltd
Yes we do, we have a few options, speed vs cost. You can calculate all options here: x8r.co.uk/mini-convertible-canvas-roof-cover-seal-trim-repair-kit-rubber-belt-line-beltline.html
I opened up my 18 year old Audi Q7 manifolds today. They were still cleaner than this after the cleaning we see here. But then again I run Dipetane in my diesel. I think its the same thing they now add to the better grades of diesel at the pumps these days. Your swirl flaps operate under gentle acceleration. Not my style :) PS my exhaust tips are still clean from new. One owner one driver. I have never seen another car as clean. Only problem is the swirl flap actuators have worn internally so I get codes as they over rotate... cant win.
HI, i've got a 2013 XC70 D5... does anyone know about its manifold and swirl flaps? I'm having trouble finding any information. Are the swirl flaps built into mani? thanks
Fitted this kit today, good kit has worked for me. my actuator arm broke, my swirlflaps was stuck shut the car felt very restricted would go in limp mode everytime i reached 3k revs, and my mpg was very poor, since using this kit my car feels like a rocket compared to before and my mpg has doubled, i think it depends on what angle ur swirl flaps was stuck at to how much of a improvement this will make for your car but for me where the flaps was fully closed and clogged with years worth of crap it has done wonders for my car. Would deffo recommend
Thank you so much for the amazing review and helpful comments on our video! Certainly very much appreciated! If you wouldn't mind leaving us a Google review we would be very grateful: g.page/r/CUq3bqyGoDaTEB0/review
Matt, this sounds like my problem... I have a 2006 V70 2.4d and the Engine System Service Required message is on... Also the car drives fine but as soon as it hits 3000 revs it seems to get restricted, like a limp mode... Is this what you're describing too? I'm not mechanically inclined but car is booked into garage... I was wondering how much you think I'm gonna be looking at to pay for this Swirl Flap replacement??
