Watch for pickpockets on the trains. They operate in pairs. One to distract you by talking loudly to you or asking questions while the other tries to rob you. I had two attempts in May this year.
I have been avoiding Vancouver as a cruise port because it seemed pretty hard to navigate around. Your video changed my mind. Will now include it in my list of possible cruise terminals.
Mid November will be definitely cheaper and quieter but the weather might be very unpredictable mid April the weather could be much better but busier for sure
We will be stay in Rome for 2 days in April-2025 and then go on a 10 days cruise from Civitavechia. The info about transportation is very informative. Thank you ! Travel Addicts. You guys are so awesome!
As always, excellent advice. We just returned home yesterday after spending a month in Italy. Wonderful trip. Thanks for all the tips. Wish we could have run into you, maybe next time. Ciao
The bus shuttle for the station is right outside the cruise terminal. The walk is less than 2 minutes. Not sure about the wifi we used our cell phone provider
Once again an amazing video, thank you, guys. What type of camera do you use to film ? I also notice that Andrea is holding a handle of some sort but the selfie stick is not visible. Is it some sort of drone ?
Thanks again. I will be in Rome on September 25th, 26th and 27, Then Amalfi Coast and Naples, Pisa on September 30, Florence on October 1rst,2nd, 3rd, Porto Recanati, Recanati, Loreto, Ancona, Bologna on October 4th , Venice (Murano and Burano)on 5,6,7 October and Verona on October 8th. October 9th we go back our home from Venice. The information is useful for my trip. I have a question. What kind of clothes you both recommend us? What I mean is whether it is hot or cold.
At the moment the weather was a bit cold, but next week is supposed to go back in the low 20 C (73 F) but at night it cools down. Bottom line during the day you can wear summer clothes but bring a light jacket for the evening.
Was just there in June. AWESOME, best advice for a 1 day visit is to make it at least 3 days...you'll be drooling to come back because there is so much to be missed.
Fantastic, as always! Wish I would've had this resource when I went to Italy last New Years. I ended up figuring out many of things for myself, but it was a lot of work! This video makes everything so much easier! Of course, one week isn't nearly enough time, but it's the most time people can usually take off work. So this video will be very valuable for many viewers. Thanks guys!! 😎👍🏻✨💯‼️
Well , about the food in Italy , it's not 'first' and 'second' course, it's entrée/ PASTAS/ main course and dessert...Always pastas between l'entrée and the main course. And the portions are of regular size. It's because in USA they are wayyyy too big! Everywhere else in the world, people eat normal size portions😒That's why there are so many obese ppl there.
Hi Rick and Andrea! Can you please recommend NON Alcoholic beverages? Are they served in a wine glass and anything popular that is not with alcohol? Thank you both!! Love your channel!!!
One of our favorite non alcoholic drink is called Crodino you can have the red berry one called “frutti rossi” of the citrus version called “agrumi” it is really good.
My friend also from Italian parents living now in Italy with her Italian husband, he loved South African wines so much, he stashed it in his cupboard. I HEARD if it's true, some Italian winery pour out wine to waste, to make place for others to be priced more, don't they know what the Bible speak, things are going to dry up draughts, and floods will ruin things, so if you know whats good don't ever waste with it, one day you might want that glass of wine, and you won't have it
So they give you a check in time and you arrive hours early and then whine about having to wait, albeit without facilities to wait, it’s a completely unfair criticism if you can’t arrive at an allotted time
I am a solo grandmother from Australia. Stayed in napoli for 1 week, cheap hotel near the station. Walked everywhere and never felt unsafe. Love the bold energy.
This is a very good video. Having been to Venice once before, I have to agree with most all of their suggestions. The only think that I would add is to walk across the Accademia Bridge to S. Maria d Salute for a great view across the water is St Marks square. I would also walk on the Ponte d Paglia bridge next to the Doge’s Palace for a great view of the Bridge if Sighs and a great view of all the gondolas that are docked there at sunset.
Great video. Thank you. I will definitely check out the wooden bridge in the evening for the iconic view. I have that view in a puzzle that I completed during the pandemic and mounted it. It hangs in my bathroom. My husband and I will be waking up in Venice on our 20th wedding anniversary next September after a 10 day cruise ending in Trieste. ❤
Awesome video with great information, thank you both so much ! Two questions: does one need to tip the water taxi driver, if so how much ? Also, what is the latest update on the Venice Access Fee ? Thank you ..
Hello there, no need to tip the driver, tipping taxi is not common in Italy. Regarding the access fee it depends on when you are visiting, for now they only did it a few weekends in July.
Hi, Thank you for sharing this video I would like to learn more about what is the best form of currency ie. cash, credit card, traveler's check to use while visiting Italy please?
Another good informational video. Thank you. Actually will be in Venice for 2 days the beginning of October 3,4. If you are going to be there, let me know, would be great to meet you and perhaps have a spritz? Cheers!
@@TravelAddictsLife thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, never been to Milan yet and not this trip either. Venice 2 days then cruise down to Greece. Cheers
