Thank you for all these videos, been enjoying them, pitty some fan who keep talking during songs they don’t know. Real fans who would be deserving of their priceless ticket. I’m not going to any as I didn’t manage to get a ticket however I did the full weekend when they played all six albums and b sides so I’m okay about it. Mon the biffy 🤘🏻
You absolute legend! I was hoping someone would have a good quality recording of this. It was magical last night and it’s brilliant to be able to relive it, thank you!
@@grahammcneill3281 my pleasure! It was an incredible evening and this was definitely the highlight for me. A beautiful song and an incredible performance 😍
What an amazing night, what an absolutely magical last UK show for a band that has meant so much to me since I was 16 years old and my now 36 year old self. This night will stay with me forever and gives me goosebumps just watching this back... Thanks Annie Brown for recording this, you hero!! :) Thank you to Misery Signals for being a source of constant inspiration, strength and a guiding light in my life throughout the hardships and most testing of times. Thank you to all my fellow Misery Signals fans for being so damn awesome that night (and the kind young lady who rescued my cap which got knocked off during sharing the mic with Jesse for the end of this song at 4:07! ) - hearing us all singing along during this song is a beautiful thing, and in those moments I felt we were united. There will never be another band that has meant so much. Incredible. Blood is forever, Love is forever.
Thanks so much. Was front, mid barrier entire gig. As someone that went to dozens of hardcore gigs in the 00s, this was easily top 5 gig ever for me. Jesse, in particular, is still incredible.
Yes, yes,, yes. All-time classic. The crowd (and me) even shouted out "I hope you know I tried to find those pictures, Jordo. Jesse still putting out 110%.
Best gig, best audience, best band..... the atmosphere was so incredible... everyone was smiling everywhere I looked... PTW will no doubt take away that reception as they are a sorely missed act in the scene... fingers crossed they write new material and do a full uk/euro tour.... maybe keep it smallish venues and have this vibe again you only get from them... 400 cap venues maximum ❤
@@philiptaylor9783 yeah it was incredible!! Id personally have loved to have heard a few more from The Opposite of December as it's one of my all time fav albums, but it was still an incredible show.
OH MY GOD(RICK)! I was really hoping that someone would record the earlier pieces as everyone (including me) unfortunately seemed to only record the last few pieces.
"It's true, we did say (that the band was over) ten years ago. And something happened along the way, that might have been a whole long time coming. And that was the seemingly hard and disturbing perception that this world is going backwards, to a time that no one in their right goddamn mind as a human being would ever want to revisit. I'm not just talking about the 1930's, I'm talking about a more Authoritarian period of human history. I'll keep myself brief here, but, it is Authoritarianism that corrodes the human soul, in my personal opinion. And Democracy can strengthen the soul and the spirit, but it can also worsen it. In other words, Democracy can (make us) challenge each other. To be better and to be more mindful of each other. A bend, in a less democratic time, or direction has seemed to happen between the last time we played as an active band in Boston. And this is gonna be it. We're gonna be fourty-fucking-four if you think we're doing this again in ten years. And this thirty-four year old neck can't fucking continue, but more importantly: we run the risk with things like reunions, things like only worshipping and appreciating the things that were of yesteryear. We run the great risk of not seeing the potential of progress that we could go in. And so before we go on and we play our last song, I want to remind you that it is always FORWARD EVER, BACKWARD FUCKING NEVER. YOU MAKE YOUR LIFE WHAT IT IS."
