I went on ahead an ordered this canvas in round. I really like the way yours looks. I like the image and drill colors. I prefer squares but I like to order at least one of each so I can review them.
If you are buying your paintings directly from DAC there is no need to scan. You only have to scan in paintings you buy from Amazon, Michael’s, Jo Ann’s, and Hobby Lobby.
Yes, Mount Vesuvius, you said it perfectly 🙂 I've been to Pompeii it's amaaazing and fascinating all at once. That's a big ole canvas by the looks of it, enjoy and I hope you share it when completed. Ah yeah, it's quite common for the colour of the drill to be a different colour from what's on the canvas, a lot of companies do this, I think it's to help a bit with eye-strain. And talk as long as you like, just be you and do what makes you happy. I enjoy wip and chats and kitting ups too, I usually have them on in the background when I'm Diamond Painting so I'm not actually watching what's on screen very much - I call it my You Tube Radio 😂 I made it to the end 🙂
That's cool you've been to Pompeii. I have put it on my list. Sometimes i work on my WIP’s in silence with nothing, even when I'm not recording, so it is me. I have to accept that is my process.
Collecting Diamond Painting's is definitely it's own hobby as well as doing them 😀 A lot of people swap out their pictures in frames, so that even if they don't have the wall space to hold them all, they each get a turn. Works well for seasonal pictures too like Halloween and Christmas etc.

This looks great! So glad you're enjoying your piece! I bought 1 of the new releases from DAC as they are my favorite company to buy from right now. I currently have 76 in my stash mostly DAC but 4. I have slowed down (I've been painting for a year), but I do buy what I want if I really like it.
Thanks. I just bought four from DAC in the last 24 hours. 😔 only one new release and a restock. I have one other on the way. That's an impressive stash. I'm going to put myself on a break from buying.
You might want to try the pen and the thinner tips from DAC that where in your kit. The thinner tips pick up the drills better and have better placement. Once you get use to those then you may want to pick up their stainless steel tips and a pen.
