Hello! I’ll be heading to Neiusiedlersee soon, will be bringing my wingfoil gear. I have a 34L board, just wondering wouldn’t the wouldn’t the foil hit the bottom easily when you are not foiling/ sitting on the board? Thanks!!
I need 16+ knots to get going on this setup. For me there are really just benefits, no downsides to ride this small board. I dont need confort when not on foil, i need confort when on foil and this small boards make my minimal wave riding sessions a blast😉. For sure its not for every rider, conditions or spot but for me its just what i really enjoy. I think when people are getting better in this sport it is a logical step to get small on boardsize for a more direct ride with less swing weight and much more pumping and gliding performance. It is just another style of riding and i think in 2 years it will have its followers and place in the sport of wingfoiling. I really enjoy figuring out my personal sweet spot in board size and riding style and cant wait dailing in to my new 16 liter 3'6" er board for wingfoiling. There will be another video 😉 greets. Thanks man. I weight 67 kg. Wind was average 17 knots. The conditions were kind of small on this day. We have some better ones. Looking forward to the big days for my small board and lot more fun to come 🤟 hope u also enjoy
