Thank you for this great Video on your 2008 Silverado, I have a 2009 doing the same thing , I have the new part but I’m going to check wires first then the switch. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If there is ice build there at that point, you should test the water valve inlet to see if it is completely shutting off or is it slowing dripping which would cause ice to build up in that area
Is there a rule for using a plastic grommet opposed to metal butterfly at knock out? Thought I heard if more than 2 NM enter a metal enclosure, must use metal butterfly grommet…..
This was a great tip! I didn’t have wire but I had some cord. Like a white rope and that worked. I was considering grabbing yarn and braiding a few strands together just to get the needed thickness. Thank you!
36 inches, doesn't have to be centered Extra holes will need to be fire caulked "New Alloy" was new in the 80s, and does not require deox , no ox.... but I still use it today too.
Is there vertical strapping installed first? Like every 16" for an air gap, air movement, condensate or water to evaporate behind the siding system? It does not look like a tongue and groove on the bottom or ends. Is it installed with building sealant like "GeoCell" or just caulking? If not, I don't want it on my house. Sorry, there better cement siding out there plus if water or condensate gets behind it, it will sit on the substrate, perhaps plywood, chip-board or Masonite hardboard siding and then rots. Nope.
I’ve had that happen to my frig two times and it’s the same whirlpool. Wish I would have had your video to help how to take the doors off, what a nightmare that was. Always appreciate your knowledge and tips on how to make things easier. I’m sure your wife appreciates you immensely 😊.
i learned to put a spike in each corner and rest the door between two sawhorses. allows you to paint all 6 surfaces in one go. then just a touch of finish after removing the spikes.
I have no reverse lights, no under score on gear selector, when in D it won’t shift down and my speedo is out. I changed the vss and made no difference. This is my next thing to try. Idk if it can cause all the issues tho.
There are several different ways to approach coping. Some like the coping saw, some like using a jigsaw, I’m just showing another option. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for watching.
There are multiple reasons for coping inside corners . The most common is if the walls are not square and plum a miter will not have a tight fit like a joint that has been coped. Another is if the trim shrinks from both pieces. The joint opens up more when it’s mitered.
So you've never done any finishing trim work before okay got it. I never understood space flight seems like a lot of unnecessary work just to come back to earth.
