Always felt like Max could have been global, interplanetary, pangalactic, but lesser artists had better PR. Tall poppy syndrome. Crabs in a bucket. Chicken salad in a rainstorm. The unique catharsis of Beyond The Moon. The borrowed shoes that didn't fit. The Party that destroyed the speakers and that persistent fear of Gravity, what a downer.
From Detroit, Canada rocks. Cool like Manchester unique rock that Motown used to produce in the late 60s till about 1980. Never received any air play in the States.
