I had a Diavel Carbon for 2 years and changed it early last year for a KTM 1290 Superduke GT…I have just bought another Diavel Carbon. I think they have as much power as anyone will ever need for road riding, they are very comfortable, it handles great and personally I think the styling is superior to the KTM. I would recommend them👍
I've come into some unexpected money and could get a new V4S but at 12 thousand less for a 1299s with more than I have skills to match it seems like a no brainer, it could just be the heat issues for me if I have to minimise as much as possible for the summers I have in Australia.
Great review mate, my father in laws just purchased a Rocket 3R and I'm looking to purchase a 2016 Diavel and you've just got me over the line, will be testing them against each other with a run from Manchester UK to Monte Carlo, Monnaco!
How were the first 600 miles prior to the first service ? Mine seems a bit rough and less power than I expected , but then again it only has 150 miles so far

Hey man I understand what you mean but in the UK the heat is definitely an advantage as we never get warm enough weather for it to bake you. USandA, Australia or anywhere that it gets over 20 degrees then yeah I imagine it will make you sweat.
Best review I've listed to on the Diavel. I'm thinking about going for one, I've been on my Triumph Daytona 657R since 2013 but its murder on the lower back now so looking for something different, the Diavel might be the bad boy for me.
sir you have it wrong with the brakes. It got brembos front disk and rear disk. That's why they sometimes call this bike a premium beginner bike. Just compare this to Yamaha Yzf r3 sir, 321cc and it doesn't even have ABS on that r3, while these ducati scrambler sixty2? goodness it got brembo.
hi have you got any engine stall issues I got monster 1200r I got stalling issues when I pull the clutch also my neutral shown as 1 gear on the screen. it's a bit disappointing brand new bike. hope yours is fine I think to get pinegale as well
Hey mate no I didn't have any issues like that. It could be a faulty gear position sensor or simply moisture on the gear position sensor causing it. That engine can be hard to get into N for the first few hundred miles but does loosen up considerably. Talk to your dealer would be my advice.
Hey buddy. Love your bike, have now set my 959 up like your bike, seems to be the perfect mix! Am I right in saying in medium and high engine mode that the power is the same, and it just lowers the power in low mode? Cheers, G-MAN
G-MAN'S BIKES & BITS power is the same it just changes the throttle response in high and medium. If you're on a 959 I would put Wet mode to medium and Sport and Race to high.
For Mohamed...I'm lucky enough to to have the ZX14r (ZZR) and the Diavel. The Kawasaki is by far the better machine, hands down. The Diavel looks awesome though, in fact I have spent more money modding the crap out of her. I wouldn't even think of parting with my 14....ticks every single box for me. The Diavel is one sexy bitch though...
Nice review, I have the 2015 carbon red , only done 2k on her. Biggest issue for me is the suspension.....not good at all. I have to find a guru to set it up for me as not willing to drop 3k on Ohlins. Other than that, all good. Do yourself a favour and get rid of the exhaust, sounds way better with aftermarket, take it easy :) oh your neighbors might give you some stick though :)
I really like this bike i have a 93 ducati monster 900 and i seen one of these bikes today for the first time they look really sweet and nippy!! I would get one not a fan of the single cylinder but even so a cute bike!! Amy from Liverpool
Hi Amy this is actually a 2 cylinder, bike I took it for one ride and fell in love with it. how much fun can a person have each ride :> yes it is now parked in the garage..
Completely different bikes man but go with what your heart tells you to buy. Don't use your head you'll end up regretting it 6 months from now. Diavel will do nearly everything you can on a ZX14R.
